Vitamin Infusion Therapy Cal-a-Vie Health Spa has partnered with Dr. Sarah Corey, N.D, an expert in injectable nutrition therapies and natural medicine, to provide guests with premium prescription-grade vitamins, minerals and amino acids to enhance their wellness experience. Injectable nutrient therapies deliver vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly to the body for maximum absorption in doses much higher than those typically tolerated orally, thus flooding the body with nutrients. Only 10-30% of nutrients get absorbed when taken orally, whereas injectable nutrients bypass the digestive tract and provide 100% absorption.

Chia Seed Porridge

The Most Important Meal

INGREDIENTS:

¼ cup chia seeds 1 cup almond milk (or coconut milk) ½ banana, mashed ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ½ teaspoon honey

1 cup pecans, toasted 2 teaspoons maple syrup 2 tablespoons water ½ cup fresh blueberries 1 teaspoon cinnamon

The composition of your breakfast could just about make or break your morning. You don’t want a breakfast that will make your energy crash and leave you feeling ravenous; you want to be fueled, energized, and ready to take on your day. Chia pudding is a perfect nutrient-packed combination of slow digesting carbohydrates, anti-inflammatory fats, and a good source of protein! Here are the ABC benefits to this powerhouse breakfast:
