Get ready for an unforgettable summer at Calvert School’s Summer Day Camp! Packed with fun, adventure, and new friendships, our camp offers a wide variety of activities for those entering grades Kindergarten to Sixth Grade.
Campers will be grouped by age, ensuring developmentally appropriate activities . Each day, students will participate in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, athletic endeavors, and science experiments. With outdoor games, creative projects, nature hikes, and team-building challenges, there’s an activity for everyone to enjoy. Our experienced teachers and staff create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where kids can explore, learn, and grow. Join us for a summer full of fun, laughter, and adventure!
Age Groups: 4-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-11 years
Full-Day Camp: 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
Extended Day option: 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.*
*Additional fee of $60-$100 per week per child.
Registration opens January 25.
All materials and supplies are included in tuition unless otherwise noted in camp description.
Snack and lunch are also included in tuition.

Summer Camp Partner Programs
Throughout the summer, Calvert School’s Summer Day Camp will offer specialized camp opportunities through partner programs. Kids participating in these programs will start their day with the main camp group and then break off with their partner program to enjoy unique activities. With the exception of the Spark Business Academy programs, all partner programs will be half-day programs. Campers will rejoin the main camp for the second half of the day.

Week 1: June 9 - 13
SPACE ODYSSEY Cost $450
Blast off into an out-of-this-world adventure! As a NASA-certified Astro-Camp partner, this camp is designed for explorers eager to learn about the wonders of space.
Our journey through the stars will organize aspiring astronauts into “Mission Stations” with activities tailored for their age and interests. From building model rockets, hands-on science experiments, interactive lessons on planets, galaxies, exploring the mysteries of the universe, and fun themed sports games, every day is an exciting new mission!
With expert-led activities, campers will explore opportunities to unleash creativity, campers will discover the thrill of space exploration and ignite their curiosity about the cosmos. Get ready to reach for the stars and experience a summer that’s truly out of this world!

Pedal Power: Learn to Ride Bike-Riding Camp
Ages 4-7 • Additional Cost $50
Say goodbye to t raining wheels! Learn to Ride campers will be riding independently, safely, and confidently by week’s end. LTR Camp is designed for a range of riders — from hesitant and fearful with zero bike experience to balance bike pros — our individualized instruction and games-based curriculum allows a wide range of riders to get the support, encouragement, and challenge they need to succeed!
Participants master balance and gliding first, then easily transition to riding independently, starting/stopping, speed control, turning, steering, and riding in groups and around obstacles. Even the most reluctant riders will be beaming and showing off their skills by the last day’s Bike Parade for families, encouraged by our expert instructors and caring staff, specialized equipment and lots of practice through games and fun. Note: bikes included in the cost.

HARRY POTTER
Cost $360
Step into a world of magic and adventure at our Harry Potter Summer Camp! Whether you’re a Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff, this camp is your chance to live your very own Hogwarts experience. From casting spells and brewing potions to playing Quidditch and other fun sports and arts activities, every day is filled with wizardry and wonder.
Campers will be sorted into their houses by age to participate in enchanting activities and unlock the secrets of the wizarding world. With fun athletic challenges, exciting quests, and chemistry projects, this camp is perfect for every witch and wizard ready to embrace their magical side. Kids Culinary Adventure with Baltimore Chef Shop
Ages 8-12 • Additional Cost $150
We’re excited to announce a brand-new partnership with Baltimore Chef Shop to introduce an immersive culinary experience. Kids Culinary Summer Camp is a hands-on cooking adventure designed for young chefs aged 8-12. They will learn kitchen skills in a fun, collaborative environment. At the end of each class, everyone will sit and enjoy the fruits of their labor together, building camaraderie and an appreciation for the teamwork involved in cooking.

Daily classes will be held at the Baltimore Chef Shop, a professional kitchen space where students will work side-by-side with expert chefs to prepare real meals. Students will be transported from our campus to the Chef Shop kitchen for a hands-on cooking experience from 9:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Upon returning to campus, the culinary journey continues with additional fun activities, team-building exercises, and creativity-focused lessons.
SPARK Business Academy: Aspiring Fashionistas

Get ready for a glamorous summer at Aspiring Fashionistas Camp, where campers dive into the exciting world of fashion! In this dynamic program, students will explore the ins and outs of the fashion industry while learning the skills they need to design, brand, and market their own creations. Step into the past, the future, and everywhere in between at our Time Traveler Summer Day Camp! Embark on an epic journey through history, explore futuristic worlds, and dive into the unknown as you travel through time in this action-packed adventure.
Campers will discover different eras — from the age of dinosaurs to ancient civilizations, and even into the distant future — through exciting hands-on activities, interactive games, and immersive challenges. Whether designing a time machine, solving historical mysteries, or participating in Olympicstyle sports, the adventures are endless. WILD, WILD WEST Cost $450
Saddle up for an adventure like no other at our Wild West Summer Day Camp! Step into the boots of a true cowboy or cowgirl as we explore the exciting world of the American frontier. From roping and riding (on our trusty pretend horses!) to gold panning, campfire cooking, wilderness survival skills, and Wild West athletic games, every day is packed with thrills.
Campers will learn about life in the Old West, take on fun challenges like obstacle courses and treasure hunts, and develop skills like teamwork and problem-solving. With games, crafts, and plenty of western-style fun, this camp is the perfect place to create memories and discover the spirit of the Wild West. Little Doctor School
Ages 8-11 • Additional Cost $95
Our Mini Medical School summer camp offers a one-of-a-kind experience where future doctors embark on a hands-on adventure to learn about the human body, healthcare, and the world of medicine. From learning how the heart pumps blood to understanding how we breathe, your child will discover how their body works in exciting and educational ways! Campers will get to use real medical tools (stethoscopes, bandages, and thermometers) and role-play as doctors, nurses, and medical professionals to gain a deeper understanding of what it’s like to work in healthcare.

SPARK Business Academy: My First Lemonade Stand Ages 5-8 • Cost $495 (Full Day Camp)
This summer, your child can become an entrepreneur and learn the fun of starting and running their own business! We are partnering with SPARK Business Academy on My First Lemonade Stand, a hands-on experience where campers get to work in teams to create, market, and sell their very own lemonade. It’s the perfect blend of creativity, business skills, and refreshingly delicious fun!

TRAINING
CAMP Cost $450
Unleash your inner hero at our Superhero Summer Day Camp! Get ready for an action-packed summer when campers will train to develop their own superpowers, tackle epic missions, and learn the true meaning of heroism. From designing their own superhero costume to mastering super strength, agility, and teamwork with heroes vs. villains tug-of-war and relays, every day is filled with exciting challenges and adventures for your child.

This fun program helps students develop a global mindset and build international awareness early in life! Explore cultural differences across countries, geography games, famous landmarks, world currencies, current global events, the role of international institutions like the UN, and more. Students role-play as diplomats and come up with solutions to key global problems like hunger, poverty and pollution.

UNDERWATER EXPLORERS Cost $450

Little Veterinarian School
Ages 6-8 • Additional Cost $95
This one-of-a-kind camp introduces campers to the exciting world of veterinary medicine with Little Veterinarian School. Students will adopt their own plush animals and take on the role of a veterinarian, learning all the skills necessary to run a successful veterinary practice. They will practice medical care, diagnose symptoms, and perform fun, hands-on activities to learn how to care for animals. Kids will engage in science experiments, understand animal anatomy, and use problem-solving techniques to diagnose and treat their plush patients.
