Resumen Desde una perspectiva funcional, en el presente documento abordaremos el concepto de Alison y Peter Smithson sobre el flujo de las personas en el espacio urbano y en sus proyectos: calles aéreas, en donde plantean un recorrido sobre el nivel del piso para generar una mayor visual y un nuevo concepto sobre la arquitectura. Asimismo, detallaremos cómo nace esta idea y cómo se desarrolla en Inglaterra, adecuándose a los proyectos de estos arquitectos, y cómo repercute en el enfoque de las calles aéreas de los Smithson de tal forma que se replica en sus obras. Abstract From a functional point of view, in this document we will address the concept of Alison and Peter Smithson about the flow of people in the urban space and in their projects: aerial streets, where they propose a route on the ground level to generate a greater visual and a new concept about architecture. Likewise, we will detail how this idea was born and how it was developed in England, adapting to the projects of these architects, and how it affects the approach of the Smithsons aerial streets in such a way that it is replicated in their works.
