“Living meaningful leadership experiences to engage and move Brazilian youth” With this sentence in mind, the leadership journey of AIESEC in Brazil 13-14 began. From the beginning we knew that we didn’t want to have just another year, delivering experiences the same way, with the same ambition. We knew that our country needed us to do more, to deliver more, and to deliver much better experiences. With that in mind, we were able to achieve 5120 leadership experiences that changed not only the way we do AIESEC in our country, but it changed the reality of thousands of young people and the reality of everyone that was involved in the delivery of these experiences. To start the story of AIESEC in Brazil in 1314 we had to first, change mindsets in the country, make people believe that it was possible to grow like never before and also to start caring about our experiences like never before and these two had to come together if we really wanted to make a difference. And second, more than to believe, people had to ACT, to actually make things happen and be the example for more and better experiences. For that, we changed structures, introduced new processes and made sure that people were inspired and prepared to act. AIESEC in Brazil in 1314 in the end, delivered all the 5120 experiences with the help and support of all the network. It was also working very closely to our entity partners and guaranteeing that they were also growing that we were able to grow so much and achieve a record in the network in number of experiences delivered with quality. We know we are still far from bringing a massive change to our country, but the numbers of experiences we achieved represent the beginning of a great change that our country can have with so many leaders willing to impact.
