Do you enjoy bringing people closer to the causes they care about? Background Donations from individuals and gifts in Wills provide the majority of the Trust’s voluntary income – around £2.5m a year – which help us to provide a ‘life of opportunity’ to people with learning and other disabilities. We are fortunate to have a highly-committed and generous base of individual donors, many of whom have been supporting the Trust for years. Their regular gifts and donations to our four direct mail appeals per year, account for over 70% of fundraising income (excluding legacies). However, we do not have a regular flow of new individual donors coming to the charity to secure this income stream for the future. We are looking for someone to join us who has the passion and skill to take individual giving to the next level, with ideas for supporter acquisition, development, and more sophisticated journeys. We are a small but dedicated team, so you will be able to think strategically and test theories, whilst also getting hands-on with delivery.

About us Camphill Village Trust is an award-winning national charity supporting people with learning and other disabilities. We aim to empower people with learning disabilities and other support needs to lead more connected, fulfilled lives with meaning and purpose. With the right support, we believe it is possible for everyone to live a ‘life of opportunity’. Each of our 9 communities across England offer a mix of housing, support, and day opportunities which are centred around the people we support. Each community is different, but they all offer a range of creative, nature-based, and skills focussed opportunities. For example, people can learn new skills such serving customers in our busy cafes; enjoy the satisfaction of growing fresh vegetables in our gardens; or use creative expression to help manage their emotions in our craft studios. We support everyone to find the life that is right for them.
