FRANCESCO BOSCO

Francesco Bosco, 70 anni, bergamasco, è stato direttore generale di Funivie Madonna di Campiglio Spa dal primo gennaio 2009 al 31 luglio 2020. Oggi in pensione, è tornato con la moglie Piera a Temù, dove aveva iniziato la sua carriera. Continua a collaborare con la società impianti della “Perla delle Dolomiti”.

Francesco Bosco (70), a native of Bergamo, was general manager of the lift operator Funivie Madonna di Campiglio S.p.A. from January 2009 to July 2020. Now retired, he has returned with his wife, Piera, to Temù, where his career began. He continues collaborating with the Campiglio lift operator.

’è un prima dello sci nella vita di Francesco Bosco? Ero un buon ciclista. Ho

gareggiato fino ai Dilettanti dove ho vinto sei gare, prima di dovermi fermare per un problema di salute poi risolto. La passione per il ciclismo ce l’ho ancora e fino a poco tempo fa, ogni volta che iniziava il Giro d’Italia, avevo un posto garantito nella carovana della Corsa Rosa, in ammiraglia, come autista.

Ciclismo, sci e neve. Come si sono combinati nella sua vita? Può raccontarci qualche aneddoto? Quando ero a Ponte di Legno-Tonale ho cominciato a portarci le squadre di ciclismo per fare gli allenamenti in quota. Tra queste la Supermercati Brianzoli di Francesco

What came before skiing in the life of Francesco Bosco? I was a cyclist. I raced at the amateur level and won six races before I had to quit due to a health problem that has since been resolved. I still love cycling and, until

I told them to jump in the car, and I took them to the station, just in time for the train. “You always drive like this?” Stanga asked me. “Eh, more or less. I drive a bit aggressively,” I replied.
