The Board of directors have decided that due to existing circumstances, the membership will not be able to meet for a face to face meeting. Included in the June issue of the Canadian Jersey Breeder is the Annual Report which includes reports from the President, General Manager and Committees, and the Audited Financials. Also included is a separate listing in the magazine of the draft 2020 Jersey Canada budget.

We are currently searching out a platform to provide the membership for the adoption of the 2019 annual report and 2019 financials, plus the approval of the board actions for 2019, the auditors for 2020, and the draft 2020 budget. The meeting will be held early September 2020, giving all members an opportunity to participate. We will be working on the format for registration and voting for this meeting and all members will receive instructions once they have been verified. At this point, we are unable to provide the opportunity to put forward any resolutions so that they may be discussed and or dealt with in the proper manner for the association.

We continue to encourage membership involvement in the association, and if you have any concerns, comments or require clarification with the annual report or financials, we would encourage you to write any of the directors or call the office. This is your association and your input is valuable in moving forward. Le conseil d’administration a décidé, vu les circonstances actuelles, que les membres ne pourront se réunir en personne. On inclura dans l’édition de juin de l’Éleveur de Jersey Canadien, le rapport annuel qui comprend les rapports du Président, de la directrice générale et des comités ainsi que les rapports financiers vérifiés. On inclura séparément dans le magazine l’ébauche du budget 2020 de Jersey Canada.

Nous sommes présentement à la recherche d’une plateforme pour permettre aux membres de voter sur l’adoption des rapports annuels et rapports financiers 2019, sur les actions du conseil pour 2019, sur les vérificateurs pour 2020 ainsi que sur l’ébauche de budget 2020. La réunion se tiendra début septembre 2020, donnant à tous membres une chance de participer. Nous travaillons sur le format pour l’inscription et la méthode de scrutin pour cette réunion et tous les membres recevront les instructions lorsque celles-ci seront testées. Il est trop tôt à ce moment-ci pour soumettre des résolutions pour qu’elles soient discutées et traitées de façon adéquate par l’association. Nous continuons à encourager les membres à s’investir dans l’association et si vous avez des inquiétudes, des commentaires ou avez besoin de clarifications sur le rapport annuel ou financier, nous vous encourageons à écrire à un des administrateurs ou à téléphoner au bureau. C’est votre association et vos commentaires sont nécessaires pour aller de l’avant.
