It’s a place where you can grow in community with other believers and in God’s Word.

Young Life | The Summit

If you are a young adult (ages 18-29), and looking to grow in your knowledge of God’s Word and gain some great friendships, this is the place for you. During Young Life, we explore important topics that will equip you to be mature in your faith. No one should walk this journey alone, and we are eager to welcome you into our CHYA family!

Family Life | Fireside Room

Growing a family can be challenging, but that is why we have groups like Family Life! This group is more than just a Life Group; they are a community of friends doing life together, both on and off campus.

This class discusses a wide range of topics from finances, to raising kids, to cultivating a solid relationship with Jesus Christ. When you walk into Family Life, you’ll be greeted with a warm hello, a hot cup of coffee, and delicious snacks!

Embrace Grace provides unwed mothers the tools they need to navigate unexpected pregnancy. They will learn how to create a healthy and loving home for their children.

These groups engage students with topics that address the challenges, concerns, and opportunities students face in our world today. Find hope and confidence through God’s Word and learn how to live it out daily.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS

You need to be equipped with the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Discipleship Groups help believers build a solid foundation in their faith by the systematic study of God’s Word. These groups primarily meet on Thursdays and often go through a book or video study.

New Believers Class Sundays at 11:15am | Conference Room

A four-week class for new believers called Made New. Making Jesus Christ the Lord of your life is the most important decision you’ll ever make and we want to walk alongside you in your new faith. New classes begin the first week of each month immediately following our Sunday morning service.

Men’s Morning Bible Study Thursdays at 6am | Fireside Room

Start your morning by diving into God’s Word with other men. This season we will be going through Albert Tate’s study of the 10 Commandments. In this series, we’ll walk through the 10 Commandments and learn how we were first loved by God and what it looks like to love Him in return, God wrote a love letter through His commandments so that we could know His heart and learn to love others in the same way.

Many of us want God’s Word to dwell richly in us, yet we often let the distractions of life get in the way.

Our next study will be “Amos: An Invitation to the Good Life” by Jennifer Rothschild. Join us for an eight week study of the book of Amos, and together we’ll unearth the gems hidden within one of the most overlooked books in the Bible. You’ll be assured of God’s presence, grow deeper in faith, and find renewed hope that life is good, even when it’s not.

ENCOUNTER NIGHTS

Encounter Nights create space to seek God together in an extended time of prayer and worship. They will take place each week, on Thursday evenings, at 7pm, across our city. We can’t wait to bring people into God’s presence. you will learn new ways to hear God’s voice while embracing genuine fellowship with one another. A key component of partnering with God in the great work He is doing in our church, from the neighborhood to the nations, is to set aside time to hear from Him.

I was lost and broken, living but not alive. Honestly, I had lost my identity but I was at a breaking point in my life. The Lord led me to Freedom in Christ. I wanted to be where there was light, in my darkest moments. I started to attend this Hope Group and experienced true freedom by learning how to forgive myself and others. I learned and started believing what God’s Word says about my life and my family’s life. My fears, worries, regrets, and anxieties just started leaving. The generational curses and strongholds were broken and I was set free. Jesus restored my family. My husband is in church and so are all four of our boys. I’m a daughter of the Most High God, and Jesus has the glory. Thank you, Canyon Hills for providing so many options to meet the needs of the church and the community with these groups.

Encounter nights have always been great nights of reflection for me. They have also helped me in my relationship with God because when I took time to reflect God showed me many things He wanted for me. The Encounter Nights also helped me make more community at Canyon Hills. I will always enjoy Encounter Nights and I can’t wait for the next one I get to go to.
