KNOW+HOW THE POWER OF LEARNING BY DOING. Cape Henry utilizes an engaged learning model acknowledged by leading educators as the most effective way to learn. Hands-on, real-world learning experiences connect children to the discovery and joy of learning. They also develop the analytical, social, emotional, and leadership skills essential for success in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. By learning at an early age how to take personal responsibility and problem solve independently, students develop a self-esteem that energizes all they do and all they aspire to accomplish. Independent thinkers, doers and leaders, Cape Henry graduates demonstrate the ability to meet challenges,
unravel mysteries, and work collaboratively to accomplish goals. For examples of engaged learning projects visit capehenrycollegiate.org/engage
