Aerial Vertige Sara & Lara J U N E

Welcome to MyTattooInc This is our third release and despite a lot of challenges during this corona time in the World, we have managed to do a nice issue for the readers. The convention situation around the World has been put into zero and no events has been able to run. Many of the huge and prestigious ones has already surrendered and postponed their events into next year. With one of our main focus areas put out of business we decided to cover and honor The Italian Tattoo Scene. Italy was the first country in Europe to suffer from the covid-19 with huge consequences. We hope you like the Milano Tattoo Convention which My Tattoo Inc attended in the beginning of February. We have also found a nice selection of Italian artists creating different tattoo styles in high quality. Please visit them at their SoMe accounts for further follow up. The front cover is the Italian Aerial Performers Sara & Lara. Enjoy their interview as well. Between the second issue and now we have been able to start working more intensively with awesome people in the industry. Furthermore we have increased our staff behind the magazine. You will see the development over the next month at our SoMe and Website work. Our next issue will hit the public in August and we are already planning a summer issue with more artist focus from Europe. Until then I hope you all stay safe and are able to do what you love, creating art!

The next issue will be ready for you all in August! and yes the online magazine will always be a free magazine. Enjoy! Carsten Augustenborg Founder - My.Tattoo.Inc

AERIAL VERTIGE

BY KAMILA BURZYMOWSKA Aerial Vertige is an acrobatic duo composed by Sara and Lara. These two beautiful and tattooed women live and work in Italy on a daily basis. On the stage they are blowing mind of all viewers with their amazing flying acrobacies. The discipline which is the core of their show takes its heritage from the circus art. Sara and Lara in their shows showing sinuose and geometric moves on aerial hoop. Besides being co-workers, they are best friends. I saw their shows during Gdańsk Tattoo Konwent in 2019. As an enthusiast of beautiful shows and as a photographer, I can honestly say that the combination of their ability and beauty on the stage is wondrous. It’s so good to watching this! To get to know the girls better I asked a few questions to one of them.

SARA, WHAT WAS THE FIRST: BEING CO-WORKERS OR BEING BEST FRIENDS? It was happened at the same time. When we started work together, we started to be best friends! Now we are inseparable.

CERTAINLY MANY PEOPLE DREAM OF COMBINING LOVE FOR PASSION WITH LOVE FOR A FRIEND. YOU CERTAINLY COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER VERY WELL. WHO DOES WHAT IN YOUR DUO? DO YOU SEPARATE TASKS AND, FOR EXAMPLE, ONE OF YOU ARRANGES AN ACROBATIC PERFORMANCE AND THE OTHER INVENTS COSTUMES? Yes! That’s exactly what we are! I think about character, stories and messages to be put across and the target audience. Lara realise costume and accessories. We draw up together the acrobatic skills and tricks during the endless rehearsals for the show.

SO THIS IS THE RECIPE FOR A GREAT SHOW! HOWEVER, STILL ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS WITHOUT WHICH THE SHOW WOULD NOT TAKE PLACE ARE YOUR ACROBATIC SKILLS. HOW LONG HAVE YOU AND LARA BEEN DOING ACROBATICS? Not so long ago! We started together in 2015. We have realized our dream thanks to our passion and willingness to sacrifice. We are training for 3 hours every day.

When I was young, I believed in fairies and now I desire to put fairies in our show because I understand that real life has some unsolvable trouble. When we work hard, we always think about the final result and we stay strong. In our imagination everything is perfect on stage, we imagine every details, we talk about audience reactions, we try and try again until achieving our goal. My sister was the first one who believes in our shows. She died two years ago and now we still working for her memory. She was the first one that tried to persuade a pub’s owner to host our show. We have to get it right for her!

IT’S REALLY BEAUTIFUL AND TOUCHING! I UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR FIRST PERFORMANCES WERE IN PUBS. NOW YOU PERFORM IN MANY PLACES. BUT WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO PERFORM THE MOST? DO YOU HAVE SUCH A DREAM PLACE AS AN ARTISTS? Act in a famous theather would be amazing for us.

HOW CAN YOU FIND TIME TO COME UP WITH SUCH FAIRY-TALE ATMOSPHERE THAT ACCOMPANIES YOUR PERFORMANCES WITH SO HARD WORK?

Milano Tattoo Convention 25th Anniversary My Tattoo Inc.

Had the pleasure to visit and work this convention for the first time. We had a small office at the Italian Intenze area and we where taken good care of.

This 3 days conventions is truly a don’t miss to visit convention. The location is awesome a big and host around 450 artists and a numerous quantity of traders. The set up and mix with small and bigger bar and food area beside. A nice sized stage makes this to one of Europe´s top conventions.

The convention has a smaller numbers of categories for the days but all has 1-2 and 3rd winners. The quality of the attending artists is very high and the jury work to find the winners is a hard job.

My Tattoo Inc.

once again thanks for the hospitality and we really hope that Milano will be able to host their next convention in February 2021.

HEY GUYS, MY NAME IS SEPHORA. KNOWN AS “INKED SEPHORA” OR ‘’SEPHORA OFFICIAL’’. I AM AN INTERNATIONAL PUBLISHED TATTOO MODEL AND CONVENTION HOST. ORIGINALLY COMING FROM CZECH REPUBLIC BUT CURRENTLY LIVING IN THE UK. HOW I CAME ACROSS TATTOO MODELING? BEFORE I GOT MY TATTOOS DONE, I WAS PART OF A PRAGUE MODELING AGENCY AND DID SEVERAL PHOTO SHOOTINGS FOR CLOTHING BRANDS AND RUNWAYS, BUT I ALSO ALWAYS FELT A LOT OF PASSION FOR TATTOOS. I FOUND IT SO FASCINATED THAT THE BODY COULD BE ALSO USED AS A CANVAS. ONCE I GOT MY FIRST TATTOOS, I WASN’T ANYMORE ACCEPTED IN THE AGENCY. SO I GOT INTO STUDIES, LIFE, TRAVELING AND LATER AFTER UNI, I OPENED UP MY FIRST TATTOO MODELING AGENCY AND STARTED TO DO EDITORIAL, FASHION, LIFESTYLE SHOOTINGS. DURING THE LAST 3 YEARS, I AM TRAVELING AROUND THE WORLD CONVENTIONS AS A MODEL HOST AND JUDGE FOR BEAUTY CONTESTS. IF ANYONE WONDERS WHY I BECAME A BIT QUIET AT THE MOMENT, I AM KEEPING MYSELF BUSY WITH MY LITTLE FAMILY IN UK, WORKING ON A NEW PROJECT WITH MY PARTNER IN CRIME RYANTHESCIENTISTSMITH AND MASTERING MY SKILLS IN PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO EDITING.

VINCENT ZATTERA BY KAMILA BURZYMOWSKA

VINCENT ZATTERA IS AN ITALIAN TATTOO ARTIST FROM THE CITY OF CASTELFRANCO VENETO, NEAR VENICE. LIKE A LOT OF TATTOO ARTISTS HE ALWAYS HAD A PASSION FOR PAINTING AND DRAWING WHICH THEN TURNED INTO TATTOOING. IN HIS FREE TIME HE ENJOY MOTORBIKES AND VINTAGE CARS, AND OF COURSE LIVE MUSIC! AS HE SAYS: “TATTOO CHANGED MY LIFE. IT GAVE ME A WAY TO EXPRESS MYSELF, OPENING UP A WORLD OF NEW EXPERIENCES AND THE POSSIBILITY TO TRAVEL AND MEET FANTASTIC PEOPLE FROM MANY DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. THIS IS SUPER!”. IN MY EYES VINCENT IS NOT ONLY A VERY TALENTED GUY BUT ALSO NICE AND HUMBLE PERSON. NICE TO LOOK AT HIS FOCUS WHILE WORKING BUT ALSO LISTEN TO WHAT HE SAYS. NOW YOU ALSO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET TO KNOW VINCENT BETTER THANKS TO THIS INTERVIEW

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TATTOOING AND WHY DID YOU START DOING IT? THE FIRST TIME I PICKED UP A TATTOO MACHINE I THINK IT WAS IN 2006-2007. I WAS INTRIGUED BY THIS NEW WORLD AND ITS EXPRESSION, I WAS ATTRACTED TO IT! I REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME I PICKED UP A VIBRATING COIL AND STRUGGLED TO HOLD IT! HAHA! BUT WHAT A GREAT EMOTION! I WENT TO WORK IN A TATTOO SHOP SHORTLY AFTER, DOING AN OLD-STYLE APPRENTICESHIP. “... BY STILL WIELDING THE NEEDLES LIKE THIS - I WAS TOLD - YOU WILL BETTER UNDERSTAND HOW TO USE THEM AND THE DIFFERENCES.” GOOD EXPERIENCE

NOTHING SPECIFIC OR DEFINED. I FOLLOW EVERYTHING BECAUSE EVERYTHING CAN BE A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION.

I REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME I SAW YOUR WORK DURING ONE OF THE FRENCH TATTOO CONVENTIONS A FEW YEARS AGO. I STILL REMEMBER HOW IT MADE AN IMPRESSION ON ME! THE TATTOOS YOU MAKE ARE VERY DISTINCTIVE. WILL YOU AGREE WITH ME THAT IT’S VERY IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO HAVE YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL, DISTINCTIVE STYLE? YOU HAVE A GOOD MEMORY! YES, I THINK IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE YOUR OWN DISTINCTIVE STYLE, NOT TO BE COOLER, BUT BECAUSE THAT IS YOU, YOUR BEING YOURSELF, AND EACH PERSON HAS DIFFERENT WAYS TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES. OK THERE CAN BE SOME SIMILARITIES TO OTHERS BUT YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN DISTINCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS. THEN THERE WILL ALWAYS BE AN EVOLUTION AS YOU GROW AND DEVELOP AS AN ARTIST THROUGH VARIOUS CHANGES. I SEE IT AS A CONTINUOUS SEARCH FOR WAYS TO EXPRESS YOURSELF.

IS THERE ANY PERSON WHOSE WORK YOU ARE INSPIRED BY IN ANY WAY? IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE ONE PERSON AND IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE A TATTOO ARTIST.

32

PAGE

I THINK THAT THE MORE TIME YOU DEVOTE TO IMPROVING YOUR PASSION AND TATTOOING STYLE, THE MORE YOU MUST BE UPSET WHEN SOMEONE COPIES WITHOUT THINKING WHAT YOU HAVE TATTOOED TO SOMEONE ELSE. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT? YES, IT BOTHERS ME... NOT SO MUCH FOR THE COPY IN ITSELF, BUT MUCH MORE FOR THE LACK OF RESPECT TOWARDS THE ARTISTS WHO SPEND NIGHTS THINKING AND DRAWING, TRYING TO CREATE SOMETHING NEW AND DIFFERENT. AND IT DOES TAKE TIME AND IT’S NOT EASY TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING ORIGINAL. I AM ALSO BOTHERED BY THE LACK OF RESPECT TOWARDS THOSE WHO WEAR THE ORIGINAL TATTOO PIECE. THE TATTOO DESIGN WOULD HAVE SUCH HUGE PERSONAL MEANING AND VALUE FOR THEM BUT IT WOULD

COLLAB PIECE BY @ADRIANCIER @EL_MORI_TATTOOARTIST @KATLINMAILM_TATTOO @TORSTENMALM_TATTOO

What are you passionate about, besides tattoo’s n art? Actually I’m a real nerd. I love comics, board games and if the weather allows it, skiing! Who is your idol in tattooing? I have too many idols to name one and if I start naming them for sure I will miss many. It’s not only artists with the same style that I’m doing, I get inspired by different artists from different styles.

PAGE

38

ADRIAN CIER The best experience that the tattoo world has given you? My best experience the tattoo world has given me so far is the opportunity to travel and see the world, meet inspiring people from everywhere around the globe and making true friendships that will last a lifetime.

What is your favorite tattoo brand? There’s more than one brand I trust and I’m honored to be sponsored by them: Intenze for ink, FK for tattoo machines, Tattoo Armour for the protection of the tattoos after the sessions and Balm Tattoo for the healing process. If you wasn’t a tattoo artist, what else would you do for an living? I’d be jobless, haha.. I really love what I’m doing but my plan B would probably be to become a digital artist for movies and video games.

IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY HEARD OF MYSTIC PROPHECY, YOU HAVEN’T HEARD REAL HEAVY METAL IN THE YEAR OF 2020! THIS IS HEAVY METAL, NO FANCY NEW GENRE, NO FANCY OUTFIT OR PAINT JUST METAL, THE WAY MOTHER USED TO COOK IT.. GREAT VOCALS AND SUPER COOL MUSICIANS ON ALL POSTS MAKES THIS 5 PIECE BAND SOUNDING FANTASTIC.. COMING OUT OF THE GREAT METAL COUNTRY, GERMANY, THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR QUITE A LONG TIME, BUT HAVE NEVER GOT THE ATTENTION THAT THEY DESERVE.. AFTER 11 ALBUMS WITH FANTASTIC HEAVY METAL, THEY HAVE NOW, IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, MADE A MASTER PIECE IN FORM OF THE NEWEST ALBUM “ METAL DEVISION”.. MYSTIC PROPHECY CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING METALLERS : ROBERTO DIMITRI LIAPAKIS (VOCALS). MARKUS POHL (GUITAR). EVAN K (LEAD GUITAR). JOEY ROXX (BASS). HANNO KERSTAN (DRUMS). ALL IN ALL, A GREAT HEAVY METAL EXPERIENCE THAT WILL STAY ON MY PLAYLIST FOR A LONG TIME. TEXT : BAMZE. PHOTOS : MYSTIC PROPHECY / IMPRESSUM.

SUICIDAL ANGELS “YEARS OF AGGRESSION”, WHAT A FANTASTIC PIECE OF THRASH METAL HITTING YOU LIKE A BLAST FROM A SHOTGUN RIGHT BETWEEN YOUR EARS.. THE NEWEST ALBUM, FROM THESE GREEK THRASHERS, IS IN MY OPINION SOME OF THE BEST THRASH METAL YOU WILL GET THESE DAYS.. WITH A GREAT SOUND AND PRODUCTION, ON THIS, THEIR 7TH ALBUM, THESE GUYS TAKE SOME OLD INFLUENCES, LIKE KREATOR, POSSESSED AND OTHERS, AND MIX IT WITH THEIR OWN NEW APPROACH TO METAL. AND THAT, MY FRIENDS, MAKES IT A SUPER COOL, STRAIGHT IN YOUR FACE, KIND OF THRASH, A GENRE THAT HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE KIND OF METAL SINCE AROUND 1986, THAT GOES RIGHT INTO MY AIR GUITAR ARM... SUICIDAL ANGELS CONSIST OF : NICK MELISSOURGOS – VOCALS, LEAD AND RHYTHM GUITARS ORFEAS TZORTZOPOULOS – DRUMS ANGEL LELIKAKIS – BASS GUS DRAX – LEAD GUITARS CHECK OUT THIS FOUR PIECE, ESPECIALLY THIS, ALBUM “YEARS OFF AGGRESSION”, BUT ALSO OTHER OF THEIR ALBUMS, WHICH IS IN THE SAME STYLE, AND GET A SHOT OF OLD SCHOOL THRASH, IN A NEW PACKAGE..
