The month-long celebration of the 2021 National Women’s Month was aptly concluded with a simple lunch at the Gender and Development (GAD) Center of the Port Management Office (PMO) of Surigao.

Almira A. Olayvar, Port Police Officer II of the PMO Surigao PPD participated as one of the panelists during the Women’s Month special live stream.

The celebration was concluded with a lunch in recognition of, and a gesture of appreciation for, the valuable contribution of women colleagues serving the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).

PMO Surigao Acting Port Manager Froilan U. Zumba sessions were also regularly held during the month-long celebrations.

On the other hand, the PMO’s Port Police Division (PPD) also took part in the Surigao City PNP’s “Si Aleng Pulis” – a community-based public affairs program streamed She also discussed, among others, various law enforcement initiatives and programs of the PPA, particularly those that involve the protection and security of women and children at our ports.
