As the Principal of Cardinal Gibbons High School, it is my honor and privilege to present to you our Annual Report. The pages you are about to read are not just a compilation of figures and accomplishments, but a testament to the unwavering support and dedication that each of you has shown towards our beloved school.
For many generations, Cardinal Gibbons High School has stood as a beacon of excellence in education and character formation. This legacy is not just built on the efforts of our dedicated staff and faculty, but is equally a result of your generous contributions and belief in the values we uphold.
The 2022-2023 school year was an extraordinary journey, marked by our community’s remarkable resilience and adaptability. This has enabled us to provide our students with an education that is academically rigorous and enriching for their spiritual and personal growth.
This Annual Report serves a dual purpose. Firstly, it allows us to express our heartfelt gratitude for the support we received during the last school year. Your contributions, whether financial, in kind, or through volunteer efforts, have been instrumental in our success. Secondly, it provides us with an opportunity to share the incredible achievements and milestones of our students and faculty, all of which were made possible because of your support.
As you flip through these pages, you will find the names of individuals, families, and organizations whose contributions have played a pivotal role in our school’s continued success. Each name represents a personal story of generosity and commitment to our school’s mission.
Here are a few notable statistics from the past school year that your support has made possible:
• Emergency Medical Technician Program Partnership and Growth: In partnership with Barry University’s EMT program, Oakland Park and Ft. Lauderdale Fire Departments, and Memorial & Holy Cross Hospitals, the intensive EMT program for students, including clinicals and ride-alongs, has expanded from 12 to over 80 participants in two years. The recent graduating class saw 22 students, with 8 pursuing degrees in the medical field and 3 attending Coral Springs Fire Academy.
• Innovative Partnership with Nova Southeastern University: As the first ADOM high school to collaborate with Nova Southeastern University, the program provides social, emotional, and learning support through the involvement of four student interns from NSU’s doctoral program, offering individual and small group sessions. This year, the program has been enhanced with an additional intern to better serve student needs.
• Athletic Commitments at Collegiate Level: Cardinal Gibbons proudly announces that 34 studentathletes are committed to continuing their sports at the collegiate level, exemplifying the school’s dedication to nurturing athletic talent and providing avenues for higher-level competition.
In closing, I would like to reiterate my gratitude for your steadfast commitment to Cardinal Gibbons High School. It is your support that fuels our mission and enables us to prepare the next generation of leaders, believers, thinkers, and responsible moral citizens. Planned Giving
Also known as deferred gifts, planned gifts involve estate plans or wills and can range in size from small bequests to multimillion dollar trusts.
Stock and Real Estate
Gifts of stock may be transferred to Cardinal Gibbons, as well as property deeds. Donations in this manner are often a great benefit to both the donor and Cardinal Gibbons.
Honor and Memorial Gifts
A gift made in honor or memory of those we love is a great way to commemorate the lives of our special ones. Notification of the donations are sent by Cardinal Gibbons to the honoree’s family.

WHAT IS THE ANNUAL FUND?
The Cardinal Gibbons Annual Fund is a yearlong appeal that forms the cornerstone of our fundraising activities and allows every member of the Cardinal Gibbons community, including alumni far and wide, to support our mission.
Gifts made to the Cardinal Gibbons Annual Fund help cover the outstanding costs of our day-to-day operations. Every gift, no matter the size, immediately, and directly impacts our students and enhances their educational experience at Cardinal Gibbons. Our donors help support tuition assistance, academic programs, classroom upgrades technology enhancements and faculty professional development.
What is the Annual Fund used for?
The Gibbons Annual Fund will be used exclusively for the current year’s operating costs, which includes:
• Tuition Assistance
• Renovation of Current Classrooms
• Enhanced Technology
How is the Annual Fund different from the Dinner Auction, Golf Tournament and other fundraisers?
All of these events are essential annual fundraising programs, and we sincerely appreciate all who continue to support them. However, gifts made to our Annual Fund are specifically dedicated to supplement our operating budget and address annual expenses.

Through your support of the Gibbons Annual Fund you can help us fulfill our mission and meet our operating needs. You can help us provide tuition assistance for those families in the greatest need and help enhance our students’ educational experience.
