2018 ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS Victoria Cone '18 and Jennifer Mire '19 were honored as the 2018 Alumni Legacy Scholarship recipients at the Academic Awards Program, on May 31, 2018, while Vanessa D'Esposito '19 and Rick Santiago '21 received the Bill Wilson "Helping Hands" scholarship. The Alumni Legacy Scholarship was developed to help the children and grandchildren of CGHS alumni continue the tradition of attending Cardinal Gibbons. Each year, a $1,000 scholarship is awarded to both students so that we may share the Cardinal Gibbons alumni experience. The Bill Wilson "Helping Hands" Scholarship recognizes two exceptional students who demonstrate their commitment to helping others in the name of 1979 Gibbons graduate, Bill Wilson. Two students who exemplify the Cardinal Gibbons spirit and display a commitment to serving others are awarded $500 to go toward tuition costs. ANONYMOUS ALUMNUS CREATES NO. 58 SCHOLARSHIP We'd like to express our immense gratitude to the anonymous alumnus whose generous gift funded the creation of the No. 58 Scholarship. The scholarship, named for the donor's class rank, awards $5,000 to a student who needs a little extra motivation to realize the importance of their education. The anonymous donor believes that every student should get a second chance to take academics seriously and make the most of their time at Cardinal Gibbons. Thanks to the support of our generous donors, we are able to aid a number of our students in affording a quality, valuecentered, Catholic education at Cardinal Gibbons. If you would like to support us and our students, please consider making a gift today. No gift is too small, and all gifts directly and immediately impact our students.
