Saving the Unborn | Building Strong Families | Making Disciples | Transforming Generations

ONE OF MANY, this beautiful family chose life, and were mentored and prepared to become new parents by Life Choices of Memphis, in Memphis, Tennessee, a Care Net Affiliated Pregnancy Center Success Story.

DEAR FRIEND OF LIFE,

Your support as a Care Net Ministry Partner has accomplished incredible things. Since 2008, your generosity has saved over 1 million unborn babies from abortion and shared the Gospel with more than 2 million expectant parents. Thank you for shining a light in the darkness!

In 2012, we launched the Pro Abundant Life movement, rooted in the Jesus’s promise of life abundantly (John 10:10) and going beyond saving babies to helping families thrive through Christ-centered care. Your faithfulness has been essential to advancing this mission.

Today, as we commemorate our 50th anniversary, we face new challenges. Since the overturn of Roe v. Wade, abortions have risen by 11% as the use of the abortion pill has greatly expanded. And our culture, even some inside the church, has become more pro-choice.

But Care Net remains unwavering: we believe human life is sacred from the moment of conception, created in God’s image, and always worthy of protection.

We believe God prepared us for this moment to scale our Pro Abundant Life efforts. Accordingly, to advance these efforts, we are launching a campaign to fund a significant expansion of our four key initiatives.

So, I invite you to explore the following pages and consider how, together, we can scale our Pro Abundant Life efforts significantly and create a lasting impact—saving lives, transforming generations, and helping families embrace the abundant life that Christ offers.

Blessings,

Moving From Pro-Life to PRO ABUNDANT LIFE

For over 50 years, the pro-life movement has been primarily focused on overturning Roe v. Wade, a significant and just goal to address the injustice of legalized abortion. Yet, even with this historic milestone achieved, the challenge persists:

• Abortions have increased by 11%

• Access to the abortion pill has expanded dramatically (now accounting for 63% of all abortions)

• “Telehealth” abortion services and abortion hotlines have popped up everywhere

• State referendums have been passed, allowing for abortion up to birth and possibly infanticide

• Pregnancy centers have been relentlessly subpoenaed and attacked

• The number of Christians and pastors who openly identify as pro-choice has grown

THIS CRUCIAL QUESTION REMAINS:

Will we continue to rely on the tools of political power alone to help us solve a spiritual issue, or will we inspire and equip the Church to take the lead so that we can take a transformative approach that embodies a commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission?

God’s Word calls us to:

• protect every human life made in His image, beginning at conception

• build strong, God-honoring families, where mothers and fathers love God, love each other, and love their child

This mission requires a paradigm shift. It demands that we realign our efforts, investing our time, talent, and resources not merely in political battles but in a holistic approach that includes fighting abortion with the “weapons of God.”

This Pro Abundant Life approach requires the leadership of pastors and their churches throughout the nation. It is a comprehensive commitment that not only saves the lives of unborn babies from abortion, but supports vulnerable women and men, provides hope and resources to expectant mothers, equips fathers to step into their role, and engages the Church to lead us on this issue. This is the Biblical way of living out a Pro Abundant Life ethic—a call to protect and nurture the lives and families God entrusts to us.

THE DIFFERENCE A DAD MAKES

We have a father in our program that shared about having a drug addicted mom and workaholic dad. While his dad instilled work ethics in him, he always felt that there was a lack of connection. When he came to our center, he and his girlfriend had only recently found out they were pregnant. Soon after he got his hands on Care Net's Doctor Dad® course, he dove right into it desiring to learn as much as he possibly could to be the best father he could be and to support his wife as they continue to build their family. They have gotten married and have already had their baby boy. He is not only a great father but an inspiration to the rest of the dads in our program.

OUR VISION

Care Net envisions a culture where women and men faced with pregnancy decisions are transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and empowered to choose life for their unborn children and abundant life for their families.

OUR MISSION

Acknowledging that every human life begins at conception and is worthy of protection, Care Net offers compassion, hope, and help to anyone considering abortion by presenting them with realistic alternatives and Christcentered support through our life-affirming network of pregnancy centers, churches, organizations, and individuals.

CELEBRATING FIRST BIRTHDAYS!

Michelle came to the Women's Enrichment Center in Dalton, GA, seeking an ultrasound because she needed an ultrasound before she could have an abortion. Michelle spoke with one of our client care advocates who encouraged her to think about all of her options, including raising her baby. Michelle had an abortion scheduled for that Friday but on Thursday night, she told her boyfriend that she couldn’t go through with it. He was excited and supported her decision. Michelle came back to the center to let us know that she chose life for her baby. Michelle gave birth to a beautiful girl named Annalise, which means "Grace of God." In addition, she started a mentorship program through a local church we connected her to. Recently, we celebrated Annalise’s first birthday and Michelle told us "I can't imagine my life without her."

Michelle,

Pro Abundant Life Means EMBRACING…

CHRIST

As Pro Abundant Life people, we will celebrate and encourage efforts to help mothers and fathers making pregnancy decisions come to transformative relationships with Jesus Christ.

MARRIAGE

As Pro Abundant Life people, we will celebrate and encourage marriage, whenever possible for those facing unplanned pregnancies, as the ideal environment to raise thriving children, and as the environment in which parents are least likely to choose abortion.

FATHERHOOD

Having fathers involved — during pregnancy and throughout a child’s life — is essential to providing that child with the best chance to thrive. Care Net celebrates and encourages father involvement during pregnancy decisions and throughout their children’s lives.

THE CHURCH

The key to ending abortion is the Church offering compassion, hope, help, and discipleship to women and men facing unplanned pregnancies.

Caring for women and men facing unplanned pregnancies – or in need of healing from a past abortion – is an opportunity for the Church to be the hands and feet of Christ in carrying out the Great Commandment (love your neighbor) in order to fulfill the Great Commission (make disciples).

A JOURNEY Toward Wholeness

CHARLOTTE NEEDED A LIFE PRESERVER, AND CARE NET PROVIDED ONE

Charlotte had given birth to a beautiful baby boy 2 months before she found out she was pregnant again. She also had a 6-year-old daughter who was jealous of her 2-month-old brother. Moreover, Charlotte and her husband were living paycheck to paycheck and didn’t know how they could possibly afford the expense of another baby.

Charlotte felt like she was drowning with no one to throw her a life-preserver. She thought abortion was the only way out.

Thankfully, Charlotte still had some doubts. She knew the baby growing inside her was a life and she just didn’t know if she could go through with an abortion. Charlotte went online to see if she could find someone who could offer her some needed advice. Charlotte had heard about a hotline from some friends of hers at church. She went online and found Care Net’s Pregnancy Decision Line and decided to give it a try.

Charlotte made the call, and was welcomed by a caring hotline coach. Charlotte explained her situation; just had a baby only 2 months old, financially unstable, and overwhelmed with life in general. During the conversation, they prayed together, which gave Charlotte the comfort she desperately needed. Towards the end of the conversation, Charlotte was still undecided, but she agreed to schedule an ultrasound at the nearest pregnancy center, instead of going to an abortion clinic. Baby steps. Progress.

A week went by with no word from Charlotte. Her PDL coach decided to reach out to her and see how her ultrasound appointment went at the pregnancy center. The coach was flooded with such joy when she found out that Charlotte decided to keep her baby after her ultrasound. When Charlotte saw God’s precious creation on the screen, she said there was no other choice but to choose life.

When our hotline coaches can reassure callers that they are not alone, and then refer them to a pregnancy center where they can see an ultrasound of the life they are carrying inside of them, lives are saved.

Programmatic Paths toward ABUNDANT LIFE

Care Net’s missional programs flow from our vision to transform how the Church views its pro-life mandate, moving it from a singular focus of saving babies from abortion, to a fully orbed discipleship approach. Thus, we envision a culture where women and men faced with pregnancy decisions are transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and empowered to choose life for their unborn children and abundant life for their families.

Being Pro Abundant Life is not just about saving babies from abortion, but ensuring they and their parents have the abundant life found only in Christ.

The Pro Abundant Life Client Journey

When our vision is fully realized, we will take our clients on a holistic journey that meets their material, emotional, and spiritual needs. Let's see how this would play out for a couple we will call Tiffany and Jeff.

Tiffany calls PDL and gets personalized intensive help and is referred to a Care Net-affiliated pregnancy center

1 2

Tiffany searches online for abortion pill information and sees an ad for Pregnancy Decision Line (PDL) ?

Tiffany visits the pregnancy center (freestanding or church-based), which provides an ultrasound, info about her options, parenting education, and also serves Jeff, the father of her unborn baby. They hear the Gospel for the first time and choose life together!

3a 3b

Tiffany and Jeff return to the pregnancy center through it's relationship with the church as volunteers to help other couples choose life and Abundant Life in Christ. 5

The mobile unit also provides free ultrasounds, coaching, and referrals to other community resources.

If there is not a Care Net affiliated pregnancy center near Tiffany, PDL refers her to a Care Net/ICU Mobile "mobile medical unit."

The pregnancy center or mobile unit connects Jeff and Tiffany to a local church equipped with a Making Life Disciples ministry and they receive ongoing support and discipleship. They get married and build a family together!

PREGNANCY DECISION LINE

Imagine being at a crossroads, faced with a life-altering decision, and unsure where to turn. That’s the reality for thousands of women every day. Care Net’s Pregnancy Decision Line (PDL) is a national hotline that provides immediate pregnancy decision coaching, medical support from Registered Nurses, and pregnancy center referrals to women and men facing pregnancy decisions.

THE DIFFERENCE ONE PHONE CALL CAN MAKE

I could hear the confusion and desperation in her voice as the young woman on the other end of the line explained her predicament. The gravity of her decision to have an empty one-night stand didn’t fully set in until she found herself staring at a positive pregnancy test. Here she was, making a phone call with the hope that the stranger on the other end of the line would tell her how she could get a pill that was supposedly going to solve her problem. The Lord was so much more faithful than this young woman ever could have imagined; He surrounded her with people who spoke truth and life.

I connected her to a local pregnancy center where she met her precious baby on the ultrasound and chose life. We also connected her to a church, as well as a ministry that focuses on mentoring first time moms. This story is a true testament of God’s faithfulness and perfect love, and I have been so blessed to watch Him write this story. The Lord is using this unplanned pregnancy to draw her closer to Him and to bless her with special relationships and experiences that have shown her the true meaning of living an abundant life.

CHURCH ENGAGEMENT

Care Net believes the key to ending abortion is the Church offering compassion, hope, help, and discipleship to women and men facing unplanned pregnancies. Care Net offers two ministries for strengthening the Church’s response to abortion: Making Life Disciples (abortion prevention) and Abortion Recovery & Care (post-abortion healing).

Making Life Disciples is a simple, easy-to-access basic training that allows churches to begin a holistic, Gospel-centered approach to caring for the abortion vulnerable. 1

Data from 2024

Abortion Recovery & Care program connects, equips, and supports those seeking healing for themselves and/or providing healing for others through:

• Forgiven & Set Free Bible Study (for women seeking healing)

• Reclaiming Fatherhood Bible Study (for men seeking healing)

I was stuck. He [Satan] got me good! I was living in a sick mindset believing lies and justifying every abortion. Now, I can finally breathe again. A weight of heaviness that I’ve lived with for so long is gone. I didn’t even realize it was there until it wasn’t. I leave here renewed, refreshed, and reborn.

CULTURAL INFLUENCE

Care Net provides a voice of compassion and reason in the public square and challenges the culture to think critically about the value of human life amid the heated political rhetoric that coopts the conversation for political purposes. Because we see the abortion issue as a discipleship issue, we passionately promote the importance of marriage and strong families, the important role of fathers, and the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in ending abortion. In addition, we must engage Christians who are pro-choice and help them view the life issue through the light of God’s Word.

The following resources contribute to Care-Net’s holistic cultural conversation:

CareCast™ Podcast – Commentary on the news of the day from a Pro Abundant Life perspective, with Roland Warren, Care Net’s president and CEO, and Vincent DiCaro, Care Net’s chief outreach officer.

Online Courses & Videos – Easy-to-access tools to help people turn their prolife passion into Pro Abundant Life action in their churches and communities. With timely commentary and analysis on the news of the day from a Pro Abundant Life perspective.

REFINING & ELEVATING OUR TRANSFORMATIONAL MESSAGE

To fulfill our mission of creating a culture that values and supports life in its fullness, Care Net must elevate its message within the Christian community. By October 2026, we will have established a measurable benchmark for brand awareness, and then expanded recognition of our Pro Abundant Life vision. Visionary financial investment will enable us to deploy disciplined and strategic communications to build momentum within churches and communities.

Care Net will work with a national marketing agency to conduct market research to determine where the Christian community stands on the life issue as a whole and in its awareness of Care Net in particular. Once we have determined benchmarks, we will launch a variety of multimedia marketing campaigns to move public opinion within the Christian community to inspire:

• A greater understanding of the life issue from a biblical perspective,

• Greater enthusiasm for the pro abundant life approach that care net takes,

• Actionable steps people can take to turn their pro-life passion into pro abundant life action.

Refining & Elevating Our Transformational Message $1,960,000

• Conduct Market Research to Set Benchmarks: $150,000

• Conduct multi-year, multi-media marketing campaigns: $1,660,000

• Conduct Market Research to Determine Impact: $150,000

VISION A Pro Abundant Life Future

ENGAGING CHRISTIANS IN THE PRO-ABUNDANT LIFE MOVEMENT

To transform the American Church’s approach to the life issue, Care Net must expand its capacity to educate and resource its life-affirming partners to adopt a holistic Pro Abundant Life vision. Achieving this vision requires significant program growth. By doubling the number of Ministry Partners making transformational gifts, we can build the infrastructure needed to scale our Pro Abundant Life programs nationwide.

To accomplish this goal, Care Net will conduct research to determine the giving capacity of its current ministry partners. With this research in hand, we can implement a pipeline strategy, working with our direct response and digital fundraising agencies, inviting supporters to increase their giving. Moreover, Care Net will invest in research and personnel dedicated to:

• Implementing a full-scale planned giving program

• Expanding its donor acquisition programs to focus on acquiring high-net-worth donors via mail, digital, and other techniques.

Engaging Christians in the Pro-Abundant Life Movement $2,300,000

• Market Research: $100,000

• Investment in additional fundraising counsel: $100,000

• Planned Giving Software and Personnel: $150,000

• Donor Acquisition Campaigns - Mail and Digital: $1,500,000

• Hire Major Gift Officer (3 years): $450,000

VISION A Pro Abundant Life Future

DOUBLING PREGNANCY CENTERS’ AND CHURCHES’ PRESENCE AND IMPACT

Care Net is committed to making its Pro Abundant Life vision a reality by significantly increasing the number of Care Net-affiliated pregnancy centers and partner churches nationwide. To achieve this, we must equip churches and pregnancy centers to work together, creating a network of care that offers life-affirming support to women and men facing pregnancy decisions. And this vital work must be underpinned by thriving prayer communities across the country.

We will build a vibrant Abundant Life Prayer Network, anchored by an online community that allows members to pray with and for Care Net and for each other.

To grow the number of Care Net-affiliated pregnancy centers by 6% per year, we will serve current affiliates with a growing level of professionalism and excellence while attracting new affiliates into the network.

• Recognizing that there are “pregnancy center deserts” across the nation that have no pregnancy centers but many churches, we will equip people to build pregnancy centers within their churches. Whether initiated by a pregnancy center seeking to expand its reach or by a church seeking to start a life-affirming ministry within its own walls, we will provide the training and resources they will need to get a new pregnancy center off the ground.

• Develop new professional training programs and courses through our Care Net university.

• Develop new materials through our bookstore that will provide affiliates with best-in-class resources.

• Assist pregnancy centers in their marketing so they become more effective in attracting women and men into their centers who are at risk for choosing abortion.

To grow the number of church partners we will work with trusted marketing agencies that have experience with churches and Christian audiences to raise awareness and inspire implementation of Care Net’s two key church programs – Making Life Disciples (MLD) and Abortion Recovery and Care (ARC). MLD trains churches to provide compassion, hope, and help to people considering abortion. ARC provides post-abortion healing to people in the church. These efforts will allow us to train and equip 1,000 new church partners by the end of 2026.

Finally, in January of 2025, Care Net merged with ICU Mobile, a provider of a fleet of mobile medical units across the country. This newly added “Mobile Ministry” will enable Care Net’s network of pregnancy center affiliates and church partners to better meet our clients’ at their points of need with a wider array of services (such as ultrasounds), enabling centers and churches to reach more effectively into their communities.

The primary investments required to accomplish these goals will be:

• Additional personnel to direct our church engagement efforts,

• Additional personnel to develop and market additional courses and resources for pregnancy centers,

• Additional marketing funds to promote courses and materials to pregnancy centers and churches.

Doubling Pregnancy Centers’ & Churches’ Presence and Impact $2,740,000

• Hire two additional Regional Directors of Church Outreach and Engagement - Three years salary and benefits: $450,000

• Expansion of Mobile Ministry to Reach Churches and Pregnancy Centers: $500,000

• Marketing and Technology for Abundant Life Prayer Network: $500,000

• Marketing of MLD and ARC programs to churches: $500,000

• Hire Content Creator for Pregnancy Center Courses and Materials - Three Years Salary and Benefits: $240,000

• Additional Marketing of Pregnancy Center Courses and Materials: $250,000

• Production Costs for New Courses and Materials for Churches and Pregnancy Centers: $300,000)

VISION A Pro Abundant Life Future

EXPANDING CARE NET’S PREGNANCY DECISION LINE

As the demand for this life-changing service grows, Care Net is committed to doubling the impact of Pregnancy Decision Line. This campaign will enable us to empower approximately 40,000 more women and men over the next three years to make choices that affirm life.

To achieve this goal, Care Net needs to invest in two areas: hiring additional coaches to answer calls, and investing in additional online marketing to generate calls. Unlike other pro-life hotlines, PDL operates more like a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) than an emergency room. Accordingly, each and every caller is given personalized, intensive assistance to move them closer to a life-affirming decision before they are referred to a local pregnancy center or mobile medical unit for ongoing assistance. So, PDL uniquely makes a difference in the most time-sensitive situations and with those who are most determined to have an abortion. The market for reaching women and men considering abortion is competitive, with abortion providers like Planned Parenthood investing millions to ensure that their abortion services are found first in online searches. With additional coaches in place, increasing our marketing budget would generate the calls we would need to keep our coaches answering calls.

Expanding Pregnancy Decision Line’s Reach $4,000,000

• Additional three-year marketing budget to reach ~40,000 additional qualified callers: $1,600,000

• YEAR 1: Hire two additional PDL coaches – Three years salary and benefits: $480,000

• YEAR 2: Hire 8 additional PDL coaches – Two years salary and benefits: $1,280,000

• YEAR 3: Hire 8 additional PDL coaches - One year salary and benefits: $640,000
