Pregnancy Decision Line is Care Net's strategic program that provides immediate crisis coaching to women and men facing difficult pregnancy decisions. PDL coaches also offer the hope of the Gospel and connect callers to local affiliated pregnancy centers.

MAKE A LARGER IMPACT WITH STOCK GIFTS

Giving a gift of appreciated stock or mutual funds allows you to give more while preserving cash.

WHO SHOULD DONATE STOCK?

For those ministry partners who are looking to maximize their giving, charitable gifts of stock or mutual funds allows the giver to avoid capital gains taxes and receive a charitable tax deduction for the full amount of the gift... thus, preserving cash on hand. To see an example of how this could maximize your specific giving, use the QR code to the right.

HOW TO GIVE STOCK

With Care Net’s online stock tool you can complete the forms for your financial institution in around 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can work directly with your broker to transfer stock to Care Net’s brokerage account.

Every ministry partner’s financial situation is unique. Please consult your tax and/or legal professional to determine which path is best for you and your family.

MAKE A LARGER IMPACT WITH CRYPTOCURRENCY

Cryptocurrency is a great way to give to Care Net!

The IRS considers crypto as property, so your crypto donations to Care Net receive the same tax treatment as stocks. Donating crypto is a great way to save on taxes and maximize your giving and impact.

And the process is easy. Just go to Care Net’s secure online portal for crypto giving at www.cryptoforcharity.io . Select “Care Net” in the drop down menu for “choose a non profit.”

MAKE A LARGER IMPACT WITH YOUR IRA

When you give to Care Net through your traditional IRA you can make an impact in saving lives and receive tax benefits at the same time. Because Care Net is a qualified charity according to the IRS, this is called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).

IF YOU ARE 70½ YEARS OLD OR ABOVE:

You can give up to $100,000 a year from your IRA directly to Care Net without having to pay any income tax on the amount you give.

REQUIRED MINIMUM DISTRIBUTION (RMD) INFORMATION

• Any amount given through a QCD gift counts toward your RMD but will NOT count toward your income.

• In the year that you turn 72, you must begin to receive your RMD. You can give a gift to Care Net to satisfy all or part of your RMD.

• You will not receive a charitable tax deduction, but you don’t claim the gift amount as income which could mean lower Medicare premiums. It could also lower your taxable Social Security amount.

The Easiest Way To Give

Making a gift through your will is the easiest way to give to Care Net. Anyone can make a bequest gift and it can be for any value.

Many of our ministry partners have decided to make a large and lasting impact on the lives of unborn babies and their families by including Care Net in their estate plan.
