Mission
Mission Te mīhana
Zoe Hing-Windsor feels a call to go to India but doesn’t know when that will be. In the meantime she is preparing herself with study at Carey and participating in Mission Track. Carey has really made her take a step back and think.

It’s helped me to question, deconstruct and construct at the same time. It’s been great to talk with students who are similarly minded and with teachers who have so much wisdom. I’ve really enjoyed hearing the diverse expressions of mission. Mission Track has broadened my sense of what mission is and helped me to realise that everyone comes from different journeys. There’s more than one way and that’s beautiful.”

God is at work bringing hope and transforming grace in all sorts of places and in many different ways. Do you want to be better prepared to play your part in what God is doing? Carey’s Mission Track aims to form followers of Jesus as intentional disciples who will participate in God’s mission in the world, whether that will be in local communities in Aotearoa New Zealand or across the world.
You will journey with a very diverse group of people as we cultivate a missional spirituality of attentiveness to God and others, develop intercultural awareness and relational skills, and grow in our understanding of the character, purpose and practice of God’s mission.
