Update from Clive Hi everyone. Welcome to another newsletter, packed full of stories and pictures of many of our customers enjoying themselves, and learning new skills. I am pleased to report that all staff have worked tirelessly to ensure that our customers are safe, and as protected as they can be, and this has meant that, to date, no staff member or customer has, when tested for COVID-19, had a positive result. I can see that everyone is adhering to the difficult situation we’re in, but I know you’ll agree that we are lucky at the moment that QLD is not Victoria. Our thoughts do go out to everyone affected in that State. Meantime, our staff do what they can to ensure our customers get out and about, enjoy the activities of their preference, and still stay safe and healthy. Meantime, keep up the great work you are ALL doing, your efforts are much appreciated. I mentioned last time that we were awaiting the final report from the external Auditors on Carinbundi, and I’m pleased to say that as one of the larger Service Providers in the Bundaberg Region, we achieved an excellent result. Again, my thanks goes out to all those staff and Managers who worked really hard to ensure we got this great outcome. We have employed quite a few new staff recently, and I know the current staff will welcome them to their respective work-locations and help the newbies settle in with our lovely customers. We at Carinbundi have, as one of our goals, to do our best - on a daily basis - to ensure our customers learn new skills, achieve their goals, but also….. to have FUN! Stay safe, and stay well everyone! Clive

Supported Independent Living Making the decision to move out of home and live independently is a defining moment in the lives of those living with a disability. Even more so if you need support and are unable to live on your own. Carinbundi have Supported Independent Living (SIL) in shared living arrangements as well as one-on-one. It depends on the individual requirements of the residents.
At Carinbundi, we will work with you to ensure your individual needs are met.
We have trained and dedicated staff available to support house members with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, shopping, attending medical appointments, recreational activities and much more.
We would love to talk to you and your family about SIL and help guide you throughout the process. Call us on 4158 9600 or carinbundi@carinbundi.com.au and we can start a conversation! At the moment, we have a few vacancies which could suit and we also have new properties becoming available later in the year.
