BRIEF TITLE All Aboard Records The Brief Revitalise the image of All Aboard Records through a redesign of the identity.
Concept/Proposition “Give a hand.”
Background All Aboard Records is an independent record label based in Leeds, UK. The label started up in early 2008 with the driving intention of just getting good music out there & giving a hand to bands that they feel deserve it. They represent bands of various genres, from indie to hardcore. The company aims to provide support for local bands offering services in releasing/distributing records, helping to manage bands and dealing with press.
Considerations All Aboard Records currently uses free website space including use of Myspace and most recently Bigcartel for the distribution of it’s merchandise. The label is always seeking publicity and new clientele, designs must therefore appeal to the niche markets of their selected press and existing followers. Currently student led there may be issue particularly with cost. Mandatory Requirements Use of the Existing label name “All Aboard Records”. Consent of authors for imagery. Existing logos and names of bands should be used.
