Cristian Solano-Cordova, former Communications Director at the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC) will transition to serve as Communications Director at the National Partnership for New Americans (NPNA). “Working with the CIRC Membership has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my lifetime, and I will continue being part of Colorado’s immigrant rights movement outside of being a staff member at CIRC”, said the Colorado DACA recipient. Cristian Solano-Cordova He continues, “I know that CIRC is well positioned to continue to lead Colorado as one of the most immigrant-friendly states in the country. I am so honored to be chosen to serve the National Partnership for New Americans as the incoming Communications Director. I look forward to working alongside our state member organizations and national parts to effectuate transformative change for immigrants and refugees at the national level.”

Aurora’s Rental Assistance Program The city of Aurora is accepting applications for its Rental Assistance Program, which provides up to two months of lease payments for residents who have faced fi nancial hardship directly related to the COVID-19 crisis, such as a job loss. Applications will be accepted until requests exceed the available funding. To apply, residents must have an active lease inside the city of Aurora, demonstrate a COVID-related fi nancial hardship, meet income guidelines, not receive other public housing support vouchers, and not have received funding from earlier rounds of the Aurora Rental Assistance Program.
