An exciting new project has opened up to deliver a service that is tailor made to specific needs within the community which can range from couples counselling to individual work looking at trauma relating to the hostile responses to coming out of the closet. Many GLBT individuals have encountered bullying at schools and/or in the workplace which can have a long and lasting impact on lives of the individual, couple or family.

CBT couple therapy has proven to be very effect for addressing marital/relationship distress which is now available to gay and straight partnerships. Added to this service is Couple Assistance based interventions for treating individual disorders, even when the couple are satisfied with their relationship. This intervention has proven to be effective for those suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Panic, Depression, and other anxiety problems.

media addiction can we live without it?

As we race fast forward into this revolutionary, inventive new millennium we have been required to embrace new challenges and empower additional skills for a myriad of technology and tools, developed to improve and refine our way of life while sometimes bringing additional frustration and strains to our human nature. The pressure to surf this 'digital tsunami' which sweeping the planet is everywhere we look and embed in every aspect of lives with the software and gadgets we employ to the media programming we are forced to absorb daily For some the transition has been a natural progression, while others have struggled to master these products of change, developing stress with the management of new apps within a range of services and social media from Facebook to Twitter, from MySpace to Linkind Involved within this 'electronic matrix' of existence we should be aware of how this media is effecting our daily lives, positioning itself within our psychological profile and ask ourselves how well we dealing with new virtual world.

Symptoms of Media Addition - The individual my feel the need to constantly be in contact with social media networks and websites - One may become angry, agitated or suffer stress when there is no internet connection available - They may be preferring exist and converse online with friends rather than a one-to-one or group environment - You may have felt the need to have been dishonest, lied or withheld information about yourself on a social media sites - Friends and family think you spend to much time online

- Some may dream about updating their status and online activity.

meditation anytime, any place, anywhere

1. Position yourself comfortably in a posture you find most advantages to mediation 2. Relax your body and clear you mind of random thought, emotion an chatter 3. Adjust your breathing, slowly in through the mouth and out from the nose 4. Inhale deep into the lower stomach, hold for a couple of seconds then release 5. Close your eyes and think of nothing but the darkness while maintaing your gentle, relaxed berating exercise 6. Focus your minds attention to the area between your eyebrows 7. Concentrate on this area. This is your 3rd eye, image your inner eye as dot between your eyebrows

8. Maintaining your eyes close, roll them upwards inside your head towards this dot 9. Image staring at this location, using your imagination to focus only on this area 10. Maintain the deep relaxed breathing 11. Image the dot gently pulse with your breath 12. Discipline yourself to control the pulsation of the dot Feel the energy in the centre of your head and focus only on this area for as long as you feel comfortable. The more to practice this technique, the easier it will become to control your relaxation and advance your mindfulness control of your minds eye.
