2017 A TRIPLE CHALLENGE The Riviera Ports network is made up of 5 ports located along the 150 km coastline of the Côte d’Azur, a team of 150 employees, a total of 4,400 moorings and 50 years’ expertise in port management. The economic impact of the Riviera Ports network reached 805M€ in 2017. As every year, priority was given to meeting customer expectations: the network continued to upgrade its services based on connectivity, quality and security. The fact that more than 96% of the clients of the network’s 5 ports claimed, in 2017, to be satisfied or very satisfied, is evidence that the teams successfully worked together to meet a triple challenge: 1 To adapt to the new situation of port governance Each port of the Riviera Ports network had undergone a major change in port governance, mobilizing teams around new relationships with port authorities. The implementation of the Port Vauban Public Service Delegation on 1 January 2017, and the preparation of that of Port Gallice on 1 January 2018, also required the know-how of the Riviera Ports network in the search for synergies and the integration of new entrants. The Riviera Ports teams also worked closely with the port authority to allow the keys of Villefranche Darse port to be handed over in the best conditions to ensure the continuity of the service.

2 To act as a spokesperson for the maritime, nautical and port economy Well aware of the importance of this sector, the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur has created a maritime, nautical and port commission made up of professionals to tackle the challenges of the blue economy for the region. It has also strengthened its leadership role in the Maritime Observatory for the Alpes Maritimes department and played a leading role in BlueConnect, the cross border European project whose aim is to connect the VSE/SME fabric with the sector’s needs. The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur and the Riviera Ports network have helped raise the growing concerns of professionals regarding the regulatory framework, in particular in relation to yachting. 3 To contribute to the citizen ownership of the port economy by addressing its environmental and social challenges The Riviera Ports network is more than ever engaged in eco-responsible development and in 2017 it widened its environmental actions in favour of reducing the ecological footprint, respect for biodiversity, raising awareness of users, and upgrading utilities. Lastly, the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur is working for a better appropriation of port activities by contributing to consultations, by increasing communication with younger generations and by optimising the city-port interfaces. OUR TEAMS We manage and ensure the development of our staff as a real sales force with a customer-based approach. We devote a significant part of our budget to training on subjects such as ÂŤtechnicality, quality/safety, customer relationsÂť. Some 80% of the Riviera Ports network staff have followed at least one training course during the year. We encourage internal mobility through the development of skills and promote external recruitment of qualified staff. We are committed to training young people, to give them a chance to discover the different port activities and we take on many trainees every year (nearly 50 trainees or students on work experience in the network in 2017).

RIVIERA PORTS, A BRAND SERVING THE BLUE ECONOMY Faced with the economic challenges of the maritime, nautical and port industries, the Riviera Ports network has, over the past three years, invested in the port observatory, an intelligence tool led by the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur with its founding members (the Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, the Metropole Nice Côte d’Azur, department 06, the city of Villeneuve-Loubet, Cannes Pays de Lérins community).
An active participation in the data and information observatory in the 06 department 2017 saw the 3rd major publication of the Observatory with the production of a new edition of the port activities atlas (1st edition in 2015). The Observatory has continued to contribute to events and conferences such as Innovative City, Yachting Festival, AIVP, etc.

Like the other ports of the department, the ports of the Riviera Ports network joined the campaign to collect data concerning maritime, nautical and port activities as part of the BlueConnect European project. The Riviera Ports network contributed to the working groups initiated by the project leaders, on topics such as ferry / cruise activity, logistics issues, and the evolution of recreational boating and yachting. The Riviera Ports network brought together all the experts of its ecosystem: operators, professionals, companies, authorities, allowing them to have their say in the project. BlueConnect is a European programme deployed on a Franco-Italian cross-border cooperation zone consisting of the Var, the Alpes-Maritimes, Corsica, Sardinia, Liguria and Tuscany. Its purpose is to support the development of the «blue» economy. Based on socio-economic data collected through an observatory platform, the needs of the maritime, nautical and port industries can be identified and analysed to connect small and medium-sized businesses in the area to the needs of the market and to offer them prospects for innovation and growth.

RIVIERA PORTS, A RESPONIBLE OPERATOR FOR NEW PORT AUTHORITIES 2017 saw a major change in the governance of ports in the Riviera Ports network and a move towards a new customer relations approach. The Nice Côte d’Azur metropolis and the city of Cannes have taken over ownership from the 06 Departmental Council for the ports of Nice and Cannes respectively, while the city of Golfe-Juan Vallauris took over ownership of Golfe Juan port in January 1, 2017.

Recognising the role of the client, coherent sharing of value Port owner authorities have laid down fundamental principles emphasizing their role as client and the sharing of value. The Riviera Ports network is able to respond to this through an efficient model of port management and by creating conditions which foster a citizen port, one that is open to its clients, its users, and its professionals, socio-professionals and residents. Port governance is today built on the requirements of public space: citizen ownership, shared economic values, and a harmonious integration with the ecosystem. Such a management model cannot be achieved without a base of governance based on consultation and trust. The Riviera Ports network sets up and promotes the use of shared tools: a calendar of information and communication meetings, relays and discussions with professionals, monitoring sessions with port councils, all sorts of consultations (public inquiries, public consultations, specific discussions), proven decision making mechanisms. We implement: • p eriodic public information meetings to present projects and their progress, •m ore targeted discussions ( with clubs, associations, yacht owners ...) before setting up a project: construction of premises for associations, changing pontoons, moving berths of recreational boaters, explaining new services ...; • p ermanent communications using dedicated social networks; • r egular port council meetings;

Port councils are essential for an approach based on shared responsibility for the evolution of the port. It is also essential that the triangular relationship «Authority – Clients - Concessionaire» is built on trust. The authority having, on one side, socio-economic and political issues with users and their representatives on the Port Council, and, on the other side, the need to ensure the good economic health of the port (tariffs, services, investments, profits), and of course, an appropriate level of fees collected in return for this overall performance.

RIVIERA PORTS, A NETWORK FOCUSED ON REGULATORY ISSUES In its role as an economic mouthpiece, the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, through its Riviera Ports network, undertook in 2016 and then stepped up in 2017 its lobbying and monitoring of the economic challenges of the regulatory framework. On the fiscal side, the new Domestic Consumption on Energy Products (TICPE) tax regulation initiated by Europe but not respected by our neighbouring countries, has resulted in boat owners getting their supplies elsewhere than on our shores (down 50% in 2017). On the social level, the obligation to affiliate all seafarers who are regular residents in France to the social security system (ENIM) has generated a loss of employment of our French sailors. The Riviera Ports network is therefore defending the general interest of an activity sector of major economic importance: 70% of the world’s yachts come to the 06 department’s shores every season, generating a turnover of nearly 200 million euros. This rallying action has brought to the attention of decision makers the importance of the economic and social benefits of this activity: direct impact on crew members, freight forwarders and agents, boat repair yards, and indirect impact on retail businesses and VSE / SME. The Riviera Ports network, alongside the industry’s professionals, advocates for: • r estoring a non-binding regulatory framework; • r estoring competitive equality within the European Economic Area • r estoring economic serenity and putting a stop to permanent regulatory inflation.

Lastly, we have intensified our campaigns of public information, awareness and communication via our “green flag” operations aimed at recreational vessels (a fun incentive for boaters) and have continued environmental visits of boat rental users. We have also provided our clients with 700 amps plugs to meet the electricity needs of vessels.
Ferries Under the auspices of the Nice Côte d’Azur CCI we have worked with ferry companies, the port office, and the piloting station to minimize the impact of noise, air and traffic (loading / unloading of passenger vehicles).
Cement business Since 2014, the Riviera Ports network has been engaged in a security protocol with all the cement industry stakeholders (cement workers, transporters, handlers, the CCI) to set up systematic audits of driver behaviour and to ensure the conformity of connections and equipment. This protocol aims to reduce noise pollution, and emissions of CO2 and cement particles.
Cruise ships Through the Nice Côte d’Azur CCI and its FRENCH RIVIERA CRUISE CLUB, the Riviera Ports network has led an environmental campaign implemented by the FRCC to encourage cruise companies to develop responsible cruising on the French Riviera. This covers both the cruise ship and excursions by proposing local and eco-friendly tourism products, and to introduce the cruise business to local residents and associations.
Carparks We are working to reduce our energy consumption and CO2 emissions. For example, in 2017, the port of Cannes finished replacing 329 neon-type lighting with LED lighting, representing a saving of 253,000 kWh / year and a 20-ton reduction in CO2 emissions. In Nice, parking places reserved for electric vehicles have been created along with a specific annual parking permit.
KEY ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATIONS IN 2017: ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING AND INSTALLATION OF THE CLPE AT THE PORT OF NICE The environmental monitoring of the port continues with the implementation of threshold alerts. The Commission Locale de Proximité et de l’Environnement (CLPE) was launched by the President of Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis. This has enabled us in 2017 to: • organise the commission and the partnership with the new port authority (Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur) around the topics of consultation and the environment, • discuss and link the monitoring of environmental protection (CCINCA) and the monitoring of the urban environment (Metropolis), • add an air quality monitoring station and micro-sensors with Airpaca and MNCA, • finalize the health studies of the port of Nice, • develop a study on liquefied natural gas (LNG)

This includes: > organising and hosting large-scale yachting events such as the Cannes Yachting Festival, Nice Regatta, Open Days Yachting in Nice, the Voiles d’Antibes ...; > organising the traditional “Fêtes du port»; > supporting events organised by local associations; > working with and creating partnerships with local retailers all year round to promote their business; > organising specific events during the busy periods in the port calendar (cruise stopovers, Corsica ferry routes ...); > proposing car parking solutions for customers of local businesses around the ports.

TEN YEARS OF FRCC 2017 marked the 10th anniversary of the French Riviera Cruise Club which plays a key role in bringing together tourism professionals to promote the Côte d’Azur as a destination by: • federating all tourism professionals under a single «Destination Côte d’Azur» banner, • developing innovative hospitality and providing a better service for cruise companies and their passengers,
IN TOUCH WITH KEY ACTORS The Riviera Ports network actively reaches out to other networks to obtain information, to develop internationally and to promote its activities to benefit not only the ports themselves, but particularly their economic actors. The five shared goals are: • Conducting business intelligence and developing the ports’ public image • Sharing information about Riviera Ports and their activities • Getting the key messages across • Inputting content on social media platforms • Gathering users’ opinions and proposals Concretely, the Riviera Ports network has extended its activities in 2017 by strengthening its links with its wide range of partners and key operators in its different business segments:
• mobilizing stakeholders around a sector that has major economic benefits. The 250 members of the FRCC which include hoteliers, shipping agents, tourist offices, tourism operators, etc., have helped to bring about significant achievements in 2017 that have left an important mark on the cruise landscape in our region: A stronger presence in international fairs, distinctions, promotional campaigns, inaugural stops, commercial initiatives, etc. It is worth pointing out that the Cruise sector in France is growing by almost 10% a year. 2017 confirmed that the market was very buoyant (6.1M cruise passengers in France), and the Côte d’Azur is wellrecognised as an attractive destination. In 2017, priority has been given to developing hospitality, strengthening links with major events in the region, improving training and awareness of young people around jobs in the port environment. In 2017, the ports of the network welcomed nearly 375 cruise ship stopovers and 695,000 passengers.

BREATHING LIFE INTO THE PORT NEIGHBOURHOODS From sailors to strollers, and from professionals to tourists, the ports of the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur are lively spaces, which are open and accessible to everyone. This requires coordination to ensure a smooth flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the ports in accordance with the capacity of each neighbourhood. By providing efficient parking solutions for drivers and creating pedestrian areas, Riviera Ports is able to optimise the capacity of its ports and meet the various functional needs of the port neighbourhoods. Riviera Ports also strives to share aspects of maritime culture and heritage with the wider public, for example by organizing events such as « L’Ecole au Port », in partnership with the education authorities, on the ports of Cannes, Nice and Antibes. The aim is to highlight the different trades, history and activities associated with the port environment in a fun and informative way.

RIVIERA PORTS, REPRESENTING LOCAL BUSINESSES As the Riviera Ports network is involved in many different business segments, it pays close attention to how its various activities interconnect and the impact they may have in the region. It continues to develop specific offers and services for local businesses, for example, special cruise stopover events during the year during which local shops and businesses can come into contact with thousands of cruise passengers.
The Privilege programme is extended Created for Riviera Ports’ clients throughout the year, whether they are just passing through or longer-term visitors, the Privilege programme has been expanded to offer discounts and promotions with even more partner shops, businesses and tourist attractions. Privilege card holders were able to explore the region and benefit from more than 200 promotional offers in 2017, including:
• The Galerie Lympia in the Port de Nice; • A guided tour of Nice; • The Picasso museum in Vallauris Golfe-Juan; • Different museums in Cannes. Other benefits include easier access to practical information and procedures (personal account with downloadable invoice, more detailed weather forecasts, suggestions for visits, WiFi facilities, and so on), the distribution of bottles of water (in Cannes and Golfe-Juan), tokens for the launderette, as well as invitations to various events.

Car parking solutions for port clients The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, which manages car parking facilities, offers preferential rates for users of the ports of Nice and Cannes allowing clients to take advantage of all the different activities available. > In Cannes, the Pantiero underground car park has 560 places on two levels and 349 parking permit holders. Advantageous rates are offered per day, per week and per fortnight, and for conference visitors, as well as special offers for cinema or restaurant goers and for St Honorat Island excursions. For example, the offer of 3 hours parking in the evening, for €2 plus vouchers for nearby restaurants and cinemas was taken up a total of 3644 times from its launch in 2013/2014 to the end of 2017. > In the port of Nice, the Lympia car park, managed by the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur has 482 places on 5 levels. Discounts are available for local retailers, restaurants and businesses with reductions of 50% on hourly rates, as well as parking permits for professionals or residents and car park vouchers. For tourists, 322 7-day parking permits and 536 weekend permits were issued in 2017. Other one-off offers were available for specific occasions like the sales period, Nice carnival, car boot sales, or to facilitate the organization of antiques fairs and contemporary arts with discounted rates for the organisers or exhibitors.

To ensure that we are listening actively and adapting our services as well as possible, the Riviera Ports network regularly reviews the data and actions of its 5 member-ports. This involves carrying out market surveys to accurately define the role of each of the various port activities – recreational boating, yachting, cruise activities, boat repairs and maintenance and events organisation. Spin-off studies are also conducted to measure the economic footprint of these activities and finally, feedback from satisfaction surveys and monitoring panels help guide the development of new services.

Recreational boating In 2017, the typical recreational boat user sailed with 2 people on board and spent €539 per boat. On average, 96% recreational boat clients in the Riviera Ports network say they are satisfied with their stay at the port. For clients who make just a single visit to the port, the goal is to provide the best and most personalised service possible in order to encourage them to come back on another occasion and to talk positively about their experience to family and friends. For regular clients, the goal is to reinforce loyalty by giving them a tailor-made welcome and providing all the technical facilities they need so that they will actively recommend the network of ports.
Areas we regularly work on to continue to improve the Customer Experience: • providing information before arrival; • personalising the onboard and onshore reception of clients • greeting vessels at the port entrance and guiding them to the berth; • welcoming clients at the port office; • providing easy access to sanitary and laundry facilities in all ports of the Network; • setting up services for babies /children and pets; • providing a directory of businesses able to carry out boat maintenance and repairs We also aim to consolidate a sense of community among the recreational boat users. For example, in 2017, we organised two quizzes, where clients could win tickets for the Cannes Boat Show and for the Fishing Show. Our seasonal staff are naturally included in these objectives to improve client experience and receive training about the services we offer and Privilege Card programme.

At the end of 2016, Antibes city council decided to award the Public Service Delegation of Vauban and Gallice ports to the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur and its partners in the Artémis group (the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, and the Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur) for the next 25 and 15 years respectively. These two ports add a new dynamic to the Riviera Ports network and offer its clients a multitude of new options, alternatives and services. The ambitious Vauban 21 project is to transform the port of Antibes into the Mediterranean capital of yachting. For Gallice 21 the port will undergo a significant transformation to turn it into a model port in terms of environmental awareness and innovation. Together, these two projects demonstrate the overall will of RivieraPorts to build model ports for the 21st century. For Vauban, this means going far beyond refurbishment, to focus on creating an efficient social and economic ecosystem within the port; one that creates added value for all its shareholders and unites them. Individual phases of Vauban 21 include building a yachting campus that will integrate training, research and service platforms. The creation of a yachting technology hub will also be made possible thanks to the links, networks and connections between the port, yachting professionals and the Sophia Antipolis Technology park. A third example demonstrates the project’s long-term goals of vastly improving relations and links between the port and the city of Antibes: the creation of a visionary ‘Yachting city’ with events, initiatives and major contributions towards a better future for the port and its ecosystem. For Gallice Port, environmentally friendly and sustainable development take centre stage as Artémis capitalises on the technological innovations, the attractiveness of the site and numerous other befits it offers.

In a year that was marked by preparations for the end of concession, the most visible improvements for the port’s clients were:
A new smart phone app was put to use in Cannes in 2017 which allowed the teams to measure remotely how much shore power was being used. Initially used only for recreational boat clients, the app will be extended to measure boatyard activity before being applied in 2019 to measure water consumption. Coastal transport clients benefited from improved sanitation and ticketing services, while cruise passengers were able to take advantage of a more modern system of information with LED screens, clearer signage and improved WiFi connection. Car park users can now pay using contactless payment and the function of the entrance and exit terminals has also been upgraded. A catering office and management service has been set up to further facilitate the hosting of events.
Port of Golfe-Juan The rehabilitated Napoleon quay was back in service in 2017 and a photographic account of the historic, artistic and cultural heritage of the port was on display on Tabarly quay for boat users and local residents to enjoy. Security was tightened with the installation of additional CCTV cameras, the advantages of the Privilege card were extended and recycling bins were installed. Lastly, a study was carried out to determine how the WiFi coverage of the port could be improved.

Vauban Port A new strategy was initiated to reorient and restructure the services offered by the Vauban Port. The new programme of services proposed by the teams will come into play in 2018; the main aim being to create a stronger customer relationship by offering a proactive service to be able to identify and respond to clients’ needs on a daily basis. Four strategic areas were selected in particular: • i ncreasing the sales team (up to 10 people in the high season) and developing closer ties with clients, for example, by improving the on-quay welcome, and by introducing «pontoon cafes» to encourage informal discussions; • c reating a hospitality desk with concierge services; • i nvesting in facilities to improve the client experience, such as better WiFi coverage, cleaner and upgraded sanitary facilities, including a laundry. • o ptimizing billing and the central reservation systems to improve the quality of customer service.
In keeping with changes in the yachting sector, new co-ownership contracts were introduced in 2017 for recreational boat users. Security was tightened thanks to the presence of a night security officer, the various services aimed at recreational boat users were made more visible, and the management of reservations via the riviera-ports website was improved. A seasonal information stand was set up for regular clients (for cruises, ferries and yachting), the signage was improved, particularly at the ticket office and various distractions for passengers were organised on the quays. The onshore greeting area for cruise passengers was improved with a new reception tent.

T H E A R T E M I S G R O U P AT W O R K Set up in 2016 to respond to the Public Service Delegation (DSP) contract for the management of the ports of Vauban and Gallice, the Artemis group was selected by the city of Antibes in December 2016 and launched its Vauban 21 project (DSP for 25 years) in early January 2017. Its Gallice 21 project (DSP for 15 years) was implemented in January 2018. With their ambitious vision of port management based on innovation and quality customer service, combined with an ethos of sustainable development, the three partners of the Artemis group have outlined two strategic objectives: to re-establish Port Vauban’s standing as the Mediterranean yachting capital, and to raise Port Gallice towards new standards of environmental excellence. A CONNECTED IT INFRASTRUCTURE Among the innovative measures introduced in 2017, new dynamic displays screens in the ports of Cannes, Golfe-Juan and Nice. A smart phone app in the port of Cannes that allows water and electricity metres to be read remotely, to be extended to other ports of the network in 2018
•D istribution of internet access to participants of fairs and congresses by the Port of Cannes.
• P rovision and management of IT services for specific events.
A major programme to upgrade the IT system and services at Vauban port was also rolled out in 2017:
• a fibre optic network several kilometres in length
connecting Billionaires’ quay with the Port Office;
• a new video surveillance system consisting of 40
cameras, with a further 60 to be installed subsequently;
• a new badge-based access management system for port clients (1,000 badges issued in 6 months)
•W iFi hotspots for boats (45 terminals installed). This programme will continue into 2018 with improvements to the port’s telephony network and a new carpark management system.
AN AMBITIOUS INVESTMENT PROGRAMME FOR PORT OF CANNES IN 2017 The two seawalls, Laubeuf and Large, in the Vieux Port have become increasingly weakened due to the damage suffered since 2008 and are presenting a danger to safety. A rehabilitation programme led jointly by the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur and the City of Cannes is being undertaken to protect the heritage of the port while respecting the high environmental requirements. Studies were carried out in 2017, with the three phases the project running from October 2018 to April 2021. The project will include: • Redimension work on the different sections of the seawall, including the heliport; • the construction of a protective wall to prevent flooding during storms; • the integration of a panoramic promenade along the top of the seawall. Because of the risks to the biodiversity of the site, stakeholders have taken care to place a high priority on environmental considerations. This means that mooring will be prohibited in an attempt to protect and restore the health of the Posidonia meadow, and a ten-year environmental committee will be set up.

PORT OF CANNES Perfectly integrated into the city, and at the centre of many international events, the port of Cannes is a privileged yachting destination, boasting numerous advantages, including a nearby heliport.. With a surface area of 23 hectares made up of a 17 ha body of water plus 1,600 linear meters of quays (168m of which are reserved for commerce), the port has 1,280 linear meters of floating pontoons, and 548 linear meters of fixed pontoons. The port has a team of 35 people in winter and nearly 45 during the high season to manage its various activities: recreational and professional yachting, cruises, boat repairs, refit and maintenance, events, the Esplanade Pantiero, cruise and ferry terminal and carpark. Ownership of the Port was transferred in 2017 from the Alpes Maritimes Conseil départemental to the City of Cannes. Its key 2017 statistics, by business segment, are presented below:

PORT OF GOLFE-JUAN
Boating / Yachting: 808 berths
A sheltered port, perfectly integrated into the town and bringing together professionals from across the yachting industry and offers a range of solutions for both summer and winter uses. With a total surface area of 8.5 hectares made up of a 6.7ha body of water, 1000 linear metres of quays and 1000 linear metres of floating pontoons, the port of Golfe Juan is managed by a 9-strong team in the winter, increasing to 13 in the high season. Its three main activities are: recreational boating, coastal ferries and boat repairs and maintenance. Ownership of the Port was transferred in 2017 from the Alpes Maritimes Conseil départemental to the City of Vallauris Golfe Juan. Its key 2017 statistics, by business segment are presented below:

Consitant with its character as a friendly and open port, meeting and conference rooms are available and freshly caught fish can be found for sale on the fishmen’s stall.

VAUBAN PORT The port of Antibes Vauban is a world famous yachting destination on the French Riviera and an excellent example of a city-port, situated just 50m from the ramparts of the old town. The port has a total surface area of 47.2 ha, including a 32 ha body of water, and facilities adapted to the range of activities on offer, such as recreational boating, yachting, cruises, boat repairs and maintenance, events, and fishing.

• F ree use of electric buggy for boat users at the quai de Grande plaisance;
• E lectric bike rental; •H eliport close to port and city centre; •C CTV cameras; • F iltered entrance onto the quays: ISPS ready. The port of Antibes Vauban is owned by the city of Antibes and has been managed within the framework of a Public Service Delegation by the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur and its Artemis group partners since January 1, 2017, when it joined the Riviera Ports network. The port’s 50-strong team increases to nearly 70 during the high season. Its key 2017 statistics, by business segment are presented below:

PORT OF NICE The port of Nice is an exceptional, world famous site on the Côte d’Azur, near the international airport. It is a city-port characterized by a range of activities and by its privileged location for ferry crossings to Corsica / Sardinia. With a total surface area of 23 hectares including a 15 ha body of water, it has 2,000 linear metres of quays including 900 linear metres for commercial use and 800 linear metres of pontoons. The port is managed by a team of 26 in winter and nearly 40 in the high season. The port of Nice has 8 main areas business sectors: Recreational boating, Yachting, Cruises, Ferries to Corsica, Freight, Events, and Car parks. In 2017, ownership of the Port of Nice was transferred from the Alpes Maritimes Conseil départemental to the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis. PORT OF VILLEFRANCHE DARSE The port of Villefranche is set in a magnificent site and is listed as a historical monument. One of its characteristics is the presence of many boat repair and maintenance businesses, a dry dock and two slipways. With a surface area of 6.5 hectares including a 3.4 ha body of water, the port has 800 linear metres of quays and 540 linear metres of pontoons. The port of Villefranche Darse, which is managed by a team of 8 in winter, increasing to 13 in the high season, has two major activities: recreational boating and boat repair and maintenance. Management of the port was transferred to the Alpes Maritimes Conseil départemental from 1 January 2018. The key statistics for 2017, by business segment are presented below:

To continue to bolster its visibility and reputation, the Riviera Ports network has developed an efficient digital communication strategy based on three objectives. 1. Attract, retain and increase loyalty of our clients 2. Strengthen the public image of our managerial role. 3. Share essential information efficiently and encourage interaction The many online services of the Riviera Port network are available via web portals, social media, and mobile applications.
Web portals: 1 main portal and 4 specific portals www.riviera-ports.com is the online information and services portal for ports managed by the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur. 280,000 visits were recorded in 2017. The French Riviera Cruise Club site (www.frcc.fr) which presents the Côte d’Azur as a destination to cruise companies and their passengers receives some 6,000 visits per year. The Cannes commercial offers website, Cannes I Get (www. cannesiget.com) received about 95,000 visits. The port observatory (www.observatoire-portuaire.fr) and the Blue Connect project (www.observatoire-portuaire-fr-it. eu) received 6,700 visits in 2017.
