SPECIAL EVENTS

CEDIA Opening Keynote

CEDIA Awards Celebration

The Internet of Intelligent Things (IoIT) Dave Evans, Co-Founder and CTO, Stringify

Celebrate the inspiring work of our industry aboard the USS Midway, one of America’s longest-serving aircraft carriers, and now a floating museum. The 2017 CEDIA Awards Celebration honors the best work of today, while transporting you back to the 1940s with a USO theme, including music from that era.

Driven by the laws of technology and exponential advances, the next phase of IoT will focus on adding intelligence to connected things. Raw connectivity will be antiquated, all things will be connected to rich sources of intelligence (and to one another) to address some of mankind’s most pressing issues. Dave Evans, Co-Founder and CTO of Stringify and former Chief Futurist for Cisco (where he coined the term “The Internet of Everything”), will share his expertise on emerging technologies, as well as insights on how IoIT will open up vast new opportunities for technology integrators. You won’t want to miss this engaging and thought-provoking presentation.

Connect with colleagues and friends on the flight deck while walking among the 29 restored aircraft. Later, enjoy drinks and dessert in the hangar and experience what it would be like to live in a city at sea.
