Am I Serious? This is a serious question. Many times serious questions get bypassed for topics that lead nowhere. I need to begin with myself and confirm that I am making a sincere effort to achieve my goals. I am Muslim first and foremost. The Qur’an is the Word of our Lord that guides to the straight path. So, let’s see what it has to say. “If they had wished to go forth they would have surely made some preparation for it, but Allah disliked their setting out and held them back. They were told to stay behind with those who stay behind.” (9:46) In other words, if I am seriously committed then I will need to make physical preparations in order to achieve tangible goals. Posting to social media has its place but it is not a physical preparation. I will need to have a tangible goal, a plan that has a timeline and requires tangible actions for me to perform, AND I will need to show tangible products and services to demonstrate that I have started on SOMETHING. Are You Serious? This is a serious question. I am looking for responses. I don’t expect anything from anyone that I am not willing to do as well. There needs to be a rubric in order to judge whether or not I should take you serious.
What is your goal? It should not be a secret. Nor should it be so long and wordy that it is unclear. What is your plan of action? If you can’t give me a summarized plan within a few days ( I understand it takes time to respond with so much going on these days) then maybe you don’t have a plan. If you are out here “striving” with no plan then no one will can take you serious for long. Have you already started working towards the goal? What is the point of having a well-thought-out plan that has been collecting dust for the past four years? Your plan should not depend on others to get started. “We cannot enter into alliance with neighboring princes until we are acquainted with their designs. We shall be unable to turn natural advantages to account unless we make use of local guides.” (Sun Tzu) Are We Serious? If I am striving to better the community and you are striving to better the community then why can’t we work together? If we are serious. If I am striving to accomplish tangible goals and your are striving to accomplish tangible goals then somewhere we will have common goals. On the previous page I have outlined The Four Point Solution. That’s my goal. On the next page I have outlined an 8-stage plan of action. That’s my plan. This newsletter is my way of detailing what I have done, what I am doing, and what I am trying to do. I post all things under my “government” name on purpose so that there no misconceptions of who I am and where I am from. I have traveled several times just to meet people, institutions, and businesses to verify that they are legit and for them to verify me. All of that done and said to show that I am serious. If you can do the same then there should be no reason why we can’t work together and “Are we serious?” would no longer be a question.
