L E T T E R From Your Exalted Ruler

Dear Elks Family

SUPPORT YOUR LODGE

Summer is almost here. So much is going on around the lodge. Our pool has been prepared and painted and will be opening the last week-end of May. The childrens playset has been set up thanks to our Pantex volunteers who worked all night and came out to set the playset up. Our children will now have a safe place to play this summer. Please help keep our pool area clean and free of food and drinks when you are finished to keep our ant population down. Rob and I will be attending the State Elks Convention in Addison June 4-6. I am so proud to represent our lodge. On June 6, there will be a fundraiser in honor of Randy Ingland. Come out for lots

of fun and fellowship. On June 14th we will be celebrating Flag Day at 2:00. Bring a pot luck dish to share after the ceremony. On June 5th we will be playing Bingo with the Vets and all are welcome to come out and support our VETS. We have two big fundraisers in July and you need to get your teams together. On July 11th we are having our 5th annual Mud Volleyball Tournament. Proceeds go to the ENF and the Sweetheart Fund. On July 19th the annual Golf Tournament will take place. The proceeds will go to a local scholarship program. Come join us and have fun.

As I look at the Elk in front of our building, I reflect on Randy Ingland. He was the inspiration for starting the plan to get this Elk. He was a true Elk and he will be missed. Elks are never forgotten never forsaken. Rest in peace Randy. Peace and Blessings,
