There’s no point resisting, get upset, funding issues or complaining, the future belongs to hybrid and electrical vehicles. The ecosystem and the financial conditions of the world demand it. In brazil, such vehicles are expensive, hard to find and lack regulations. However, last year the government began sketching some reactions. Now, all that’s left is hoping these measures get concretized in 2018. The deadline to settle things
right was supposed to last four years, according to a Contran’s bulletin. Nevertheless, even delayed, that’s not something anyone can stop. The best way to deal is embracing it and investing in knowledge. Besides, it guarantees a good career and air quality depends on it. Some electrical vehicles are already available in the country. They are Toyota Prius, Lexus CT200h, Ford Fusion Hybrid, BMW i3, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, BMW i8 and a few
more. Even so, their prices are quite expensive. It begins at 100 thousand BRL and goes to 800 thousand BRL. Still, there’s a Renault’s electrical Kwid project for emergent countries. The 2018 Jeep Compass line brought many novelties for the SUV. Now besides the Flex version there’s also a Diesel one. According to the FCA group, Jeep’s retainer, these upgrades delivered to the vehicle more technology, style, convenience and off-road capacity.
The engine of the Flex version is a 2.0 liters
Tigershark that can reach 166 HP and 20,5 kgfm of
torque when refueled with ethanol. With gasoline, this numbers drop to 159 HP and 19,9 kgfm, respectively. Its automatic transmission is the AT6 Aisin, the same used by Fiat Toro. This was the version tested by the 100% Motor team.
