One of Ford’s Fenatran Highlights was the prototype truck Cargo Connect. This vehicle is equipped with many innovating technologies of connectivity and driving assistance. It is produced in Brazil by Ford in partnership with other companies and is a representation of what they expect from the future of cargo transportations. The base for this vehicle is a prototype 8x2 with automatic transmission. Among the Cargo Connect functions there are many security resources. They are autonomous braking system, blind spot alert, track permanence assistance, adaptable automatic pilot, fatigue alert and 360 degrees’ truck monitoring with cameras directly connected to an operations center. Moreover, it also has productivity functions. They involve intelligent cargo management, traffic signs reading system, automatic torque and power adjustment, preventive diagnostic system and drivers performance measurement app. Now, about the connectivity, the Cargo Connect has a multimedia central in the panel with 7 inches. The project was developed in partnership with Bosch, Autotrack, Cummins, Eaton and Instituto PARAR. The focus of this product is in the light and medium truck’s segment for autonomous drivers and small fleet business. A public that according to Ford is needy of innovations.
Iveco Hi-Way 560 One of Brazil’s most powerful trucks

Iveco celebrated in 2017 twenty years in Brazil. That’s why, the company took to Fenatran fair a special edition of the mechanical horse Hi-Way 560. This vehicle is one of the country’s most powerful trucks. The Hi-Way was developed by the Italian brand to be a power, comfort and high technology reference. Moreover, in order to achieve such goal these qualities were allied to stability, design and versatility. This 560 version is the top of the line. Its torque can reach 2.500 Nm and the 6x4 traction is accompanied by a bi train loaded with 57 tons. The engine is the 13 liters FPT Cursor and its propellers
