"Hey guys! Last month's issue was not able to come out due to the exams that had occurred. Thank you for your understanding, and i hope to make this issue just as good as any of the others. It's now the New Year which something I am both excited and fearful for: The New Term. It has been an honor to serve you and come April a new Editor will be taking over. I appreciate everyone in this term, let's end the year strong!" -Emiri Handa, Editor

Adopt a Family

"For the month of December we had ‘adopted’ a little girl for Christmas. Together as a club, we wrapped the presents this little girl and her family were not able to afford. Working together to make this princess happy was heartwarming! This is an amazing service event that everyone was so incredibly happy to do." -Emiri Handa, Key Club Editor

2018-2019

Board Opinions on Elections on 01/23 Hello I am Neo, president of Centennial Key Club! Ever since before my club elections of early 2018 for the current term of 18-19, I’ve had 3 goals for my club and I organized it into one small goal, one big goal, and one major goal. My small goal was to try to advance my club to more rounds for RTC, my big goal was to increase membership and attendance for my club, and my biggest goal is to ensure the next presidents have a solid hold and understanding of their responsibilities. During this term, I’ve had much aide from my entire board such as fundraising, finding service events, and planning socials among many more and my role was to ensure everything ran smoothly for my board, advisors, and general members.

This term has been one unforgettable journey with plenty of twists and turns. Being Vice President has truly been an honor and a major learning experience about what it means to be a leader. Although the term is drawing closer to an end, I am truly excited about what’s to come next.

Being VP was so much fun! Interacting with members and planning different events to volunteer was definitely some of the things I enjoyed the most being VP. I am very proud of this year's term, due to the amount of new events we have participated in, such as Adopt a Family and our Homecoming float. Saying this, I do have some goals for next year's term if I get re-elected. To whomever gets the next VP position, I hope you learn a lot of amazing skills as I did!

As secretary my job is not only document key clubbers, their hours, and monthly reports, but also to organize and keep everything on track. It’s bittersweet to me for the end of my term, but i’m grateful for all I’ve learned and cannot wait to help welcome the new secretary!

As Editor, it is my duty to create the newsletters you are reading now, the agendas, the articles and visuals, and essentially help the other board members with whatever they need me to do. My favorite project of the term was making the folder for the next Editor. As heavy it is on my heart to let this position go, I hope the next Editor has as much fun as I did. These elections are my biggest fear and the way I will leave a legacy with all the work I have done. Cheers to a new term.
