Kenny’s Corner
Creative connections The summer is drawing to a close, but it has been a productive and successful season for Centers Health Care. The core of our business is making connections—with the communities we serve and the healthcare partners we develop. To that end, we have been both creative and proactive this summer. Several of our facilities—in the Bronx and Brooklyn—invited our valued referrals to an elegant “Evening under the Stars.” In upstate New York, Corning Center brought the community together with a “Summer Carnival,” while Steuben Center put the pedal to the metal in a “Classic Car Show.” And that’s just a small sampling of the Centers Health Care outreach this summer: Ice cream, donut and taco trucks; walks for charity; and the launching of the Wellness Spa at Beth Abraham Center were all part of the program. The summer may be over, but its impact on our company and our growing business cannot be overstated. Thanks to all who conceived, developed and made these many events possible. Great work!

News from the Centers
Dots hit the spot
Concord held a polka dot day, and everyone there got their dots on! And if we connect the dots, what have we got? A day of fun fashion and leopard-like loungewear.
Water dance
Deptford Center and Hammonton Center held a Senior Citizen Prom at the Camden Adventure Aquarium. The theme: A Night Under the Sea. Word is, the event went swimmingly!
Cool wheels. Hot cars.
Steuben Center went retro with a Classic Car Show. Fancy fins and fenders were all on display. We understand that the show was a real gas!
Come one. Come all.
There was food, fun and entertainment for the whole family as Corning Center put on a Summer Carnival Extravaganza. Folks had a great time under the sun.
Do a soft shoe
Sneaker Day came to Amsterdam, and staff as well as residents wore their favorite kicks… just for kicks. Way to go Amsterdam: putting your best foot forward.
A fresh idea
Team CBO (Centers Business Office) has given the staff a new lunch option: Team CBO Lunch on the Go. It features fresh food daily. Now that’s a good business practice!
Another Success Story
Christopher Kimball Meet Christopher Kimball, former patient at Glens Falls Center, and prepare to be moved. His story of his physical and emotional crises, and the remarkable care and comfort he received from the Glens Falls Center staff, is an inspiration. They gave Christopher the encouragement, confidence and strength to stand on his own again. This is just one of the many stories that move us. Watch and discover care that moves you.
