Health & Wellness Savings & Retirement Time & Life Simplicity, Choice & Flexibility Cerner offers a complete set of benefits to address your physical, financial and emotional health. At Cerner, we believe the foundation for a successful career starts with a variety of options that meet your needs while supporting a healthy lifestyle. Eligibility for Cerner Benefits will vary by benefit. Generally, most associates will be eligible for benefits. If a benefit provides coverage for a dependent, the eligible dependents will generally include your spouse, same sex partner and eligible children.

Health Care
Private Health Insurance If an eligible associate voluntarily takes out a private medical insurance policy, Cerner may contribute an amount equal to social funding contributions.
Occupational Health Cerner has partnered with TUV Rheinland to meet the occupational health requirements for our associates. In addition to health checks, TUV Rheinland provides an online tool for the occupational safety trainings which provides flexibility for Cerner associates and seamlessly and efficiently provides evidence of compliance.

Time Off Time Off As a Cerner associate, annual leave time is provided to you each year to allow you to take time off from work regularly, with pay, for rest, relaxation, and other personal time. Annual leave time at the rate of 30 days per year will be available to each associate.
Illness Cerner Time off for illness is based on your personal needs; if you are sick, you should stay home from work until you are well enough to return to work. Cerner also offers disability benefits for all eligible associates:

Holiday Cerner recognizes 9-13 public holidays per year depending on office region.

Additional Benefits
Associate Assistance Program Cerner has contracted with New Directions Behavioral Health and Cerner HealthPlan Services to provide Cerner with an Associate Assistance Program (EAP). New Directions provides pre-paid counseling services by licensed counselors. Associates and/or their family may access this service via telephone. Service is available on a variety of topics (i.e. work, family, personal). New Directions’ specialists provide assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to participants.
