Health & Wellness Savings & Retirement Time & Life Simplicity, Choice & Flexibility Cerner offers a set of benefits to address your physical, financial and emotional health. At Cerner, we believe the foundation for a successful career starts with a variety of options that meet your needs while supporting a healthy lifestyle.
You are eligible to enroll in Cerner Benefits on your first day of employment. Eligibility for Cerner Benefits will vary by benefit. Generally, most associates will be eligible for Benefits.

Healthe at Cerner Cerner supports and encourages healthy lifestyles through what we call Healthe at Cerner, our coordinated programs and services around health and well-being, designed for you and your family members. Healthe at Cerner lets you take an active role in managing and achieving your health and well-being goals; it is our mission to empower associates and their families to obtain their optimal level of health.
As a consumer of healthcare, you and your family should feel empowered with the necessary tools and resources to actively manage all aspects of your health and care. Healthe at Cerner programs, tools and services are available to support you in making the best healthcare choices for you and your family.

Health & Well-being Health and Well-being Programming Healthe at Cerner offers a variety of programs, tools and resources to help you be proactive in your health and overall well-being, including: • • •

Online wellness classes and webinars. On-demand Serenity Sessions and Mindful Minutes for guided mindfulness and meditation. Mental well-being programming through THRIVE, featuring education and resources on topics such as stress management, resilience, sleep, flexible thinking, suicide awareness and more. Well-Being Connect for virtual fitness, mobility and wellness classes, mindfulness, blogs and other on-demand classes and activities. Comprehensive support through My Life Resources, Cerner’s Associate Assistance Program, including access to therapy services, financial and legal consultation, research and referral services, tobacco cessation support and more. See page 11 for more details.
Physical Well-being Highlights On-Demand Fitness Cerner provides associates easy access to over 100 different fitness class options using an ondemand fitness app. All classes are available at no cost to associates and eligible dependents and can be done anytime, anywhere. Classes range from Bootcamp to Barre, Strength Training to Stretching, Mobility, Meditation, and more. Once connected, search the app for classes based on format, length, instructor, level or language. Fitness Reimbursement Cerner encourages healthy lifestyles and offers a health club reimbursement program for athletic club membership dues at approved facilities. Associates may be reimbursed for 50% of pretaxed monthly fees up to a maximum of AUD 695 per year. Musculoskeletal Health Cerner offers a variety of programs and services designed to help you manage your musculoskeletal health and enable you to move with more comfort and ease. We use a movement-based treatment approach to improve joint health, mitigate injury and enhance performance. One of these programs, Build Better Joints, is completely virtual in design and guides associates through eight weeks of mobility routines and curated educational resources. With courses specific to the neck and shoulders, lower back and knee, Build Better Joints can be your first step to a more active, pain-free life.

Healthcare Healthcare Cerner partners with nib as a preferred health insurance provider which offers associates including a premium discount, rate periods and more. nib has agreements at over 400 private hospitals. There are a variety of different plans depending on your age and the level of coverage you need. As a Cerner associate you will receive a 8% discount on the coverage you purchase through nib.

Depending on the level of coverage you choose, nib Extras covers services you can use everyday to stay healthy– like going to the dentist, a visit to the physio, or a new pair of glasses. Join any nib combined Hospital and Extras package available in the nib corporate health plan and the usual 2 and 6 month waiting periods on Extras is waived.

Savings and Retirement Superannuation Building a diverse financial portfolio is vital to the well-being of all our associates. Cerner contributes 10% of your eligible pay, which includes base salary, commissions and some bonuses (subject to a quarterly cap). Associates can choose additional contributions with a limit of $50,000 including employer portion annually. You will be automatically enrolled in this benefit by Cerner and our provider, MLC Limited, will send out a forms packet that includes: ◼ ◼ ◼
Rollover form Elect funds other than the default fund If going with another provider than the ATO “Super Choice Form” is needed
With the financial planning tools available through our partner, MLC Limited, you can choose from over 35 investment options to tailor your superannuation investments. If you don’t make an investment selection, your contributions will be invested in MLC MySuper until you make an investment choice.
You have the flexibility to supplement Cerner’s contributions with your own funds through salary sacrifice. Salary sacrificing into super boosts retirement savings in a tax effective manner. This is because salary sacrificing contributions to super are taxed at a maximum rate of 15%, whereas your income you receive from salary is taxed at your marginal tax rate, which could be as high as 46.5%.

Travel ACE Travel Assistance Cerner provides travel life, accident and emergency medical insurance plans for associates and their eligible dependents at no cost. All eligible associates are automatically enrolled. These benefits are insured by ACE American Insurance Company.
Travel Emergency Medical
Travel protection insurance is provided to Cerner associates travelling on international business. The plan provides the following types of coverage: ◼ Secondary Medical Insurance for Accidents and Illness ◼ Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation ◼ Medical assistance services ◼ Personal assistance ◼ Travel assistance
This plan is secondary insurance and will pay covered claims after any other insurance or national healthcare payments are made.
Travel Life and Accident
This Plan insures you if you experience a loss while traveling on business for Cerner (including personal deviation for up to fourteen days) excluding normal commuting to and from work. .

Leaves, Life & Disability Leaves
Cerner provides a comprehensive set of absence policies to allow associates the ability to balance personal and work needs.
• Up to 12 weeks of paid maternity leave • Up to 52 weeks of unpaid parental leave in connection with the birth or adoption of a child
Life and Income Protection
Life insurance for death and Total Permanent Disability (TPD) is a Cerner paid benefit that covers associates at a rate of 2 times annual base salary. Income protection is also provided in the event an associate is not able to work due to illness or injury. Coverage begins after a 90 day waiting period and will be paid out at 75% of covered earnings (up to $240,000). The benefit payment period is 2 years and associates may apply for private income protection policies that may provide benefit payment for a longer period of time.

Time Off Time Off
As a Cerner associate, annual leave time is provided to you each year to allow you to take time off from work regularly for rest, relaxation, and other personal time. Associates are entitled to 20 business days of annual leave per year. Time off is accrued on a weekly basis beginning on your date of joining.
Illness
Time off for illness is based on your personal needs; if you are sick you should stay home from work until you are well enough to return to work. You will accrue sick leave on a weekly basis in the amount of 10 days per year. Sick leave accumulates indefinitely.
Holiday
Cerner recognizes public holidays at least 9 public holidays per year when the office will officially be closed, in accordance with each state or territory. You will also receive one personal floating holiday each year to be used during the year.

My Life Resources Associate Assistance Program My Life Resources, provided by Spring Health, is our Associate Assistance Program (EAP). My Life Resources is here to help and guide you in taking the steps to a healthier, more vibrant life. Access confidential tools and services to empower you and your family through a variety of different situations. Services are at no cost to you and your household members, and are available via telephone or online 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Additional Benefits Tuition Reimbursement Cerner encourages associates to develop and enhance their skills through ongoing education. Associates must have 24 months of continuous full-time service to apply for Under-graduate and Postgraduate coursework reimbursement. Associates may be reimbursed for tuition expenses associated with educational and skill building courses offered through approved institutions. For degrees that are beneficial to an associate’s role, a maximum limit of AUD 4,000 for undergraduate coursework and AUD 6000 for graduate coursework per year will be reimbursed.
Novated Lease A novated lease enables you to finance a vehicle and its operating costs with a combination of before and after-tax salary. Through this arrangement, associates can purchasing the vehicle of their choice, as well as managed service costs (such as maintenance, repair and fuel) and bundle the cost into a single monthly payment. Novated Lease is a tax-advantage program granted by the Australia Taxation Office that allows you to take part of your income as a tax-free benefit. You can elect to receive your benefit in a form other than cash, which is deducted from your pre-tax salary. Income tax then applies only to the amount remaining after these deductions, which means you pay less tax.
