FIMI – Countdown to the start of the International Fair of Children & Youth Fashion The 73rd edition of FIMI consolidates this fair as one of the most prestigious events of the sector and looks optimistically to the future, with new and interesting proposals which transform this meeting point in a global event of all the products related to the children’s world. Therefore, for the first time ever, the International Fair of Children and Youth Fashion, prepares different actions addressed exclusively to children’s footwear industry and ceremonial sector. The aim is to continue promoting the integration of all the children’s fashion products in order to become the industry’s most comprehensive fair. Children’s Fashion Europe (CFE) will be present once again in FIMI (www.fimi.es) which will be held in Valencia (Spain) from the 1st to the 3rd of July 2011. CFE’s members who participate at the fair have a 5% discount on floor price, thanks to the collaboration agreement between the fair and Children’s Fashion Europe. Figures of the fair With over forty years of experience FIMI is considered the second largest fair of the sector. This 73rd edition expects to reach the good figures that have located it at the top of the Kids Fashion Exhibitions. As an example the last meeting, held in January, brought together over 300 brands from 17 countries. Moreover, according to the organization figures, the Fair has increased the number of foreign buyers by 11% compared to the 2010 edition.
