FIMI - 73rd edition of FIMI with an international flair The 73rd edition of FIMI, International Fair of Children’s and Young Fashion, held in Valencia last weekend, was a great success: 260 brands have participated, this represents an increase of 13% compare to the last edition for spring-summer 2010. One of the aims of the only children’s fashion event held in Spain is to develop its international facet and be the showcase of the children’s fashion at a world level. Indeed FIMI is presented as an opportunity for Spanish children’s fashion companies to be in contact with new areas of sales, new markets and with new customers out of traditional markets. As a matter of fact, this edition brought together professionals from Germany, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Latin America, UK and UAE, among. As usual, the association Children's Fashion Europe was present to give information about its actuality and promote its member's brands with the diffusion of its new catalogue, which has been given to all the professionals who visited the stand. Children’s Fashion Europe took also advantage of it presence at the fair to promote the two European projects which it’s carrying out: - el braM, that develops the ‘BraM’ Web based Course, aims to improve the brand and merchandising management for SMEs in the children's products sector (www.brandfashionmanager.eu) - el Design4Children (www.design4children.eu), that will create a software for the design of children's products. CFE has also visited it 20 brands members that took part in the 73rd edition of FIMI: Lullaby, Ebound, Emoi, Tricky Tracks, Elisa Menuts, Sterntaler, Bi ba bu, Bóboli, Blue Seven, Ido, Knot, Cóndor, Barcarola, Oh! Soleil, Baronetti, Cuquito, Laranjinha, Zarabanda, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Mayoral – Newborn.

Children’s Fashion Europe has attended 73 edition of PITTI BIMBO The European association of children’s fashion and childcare products, Children’s Fashion Europe (CFE), has counted with a promotional booth at the 73rd edition of Pitti Bimbo, which is considered as one of the most prestigious fair of the sector. At this occasion, CFE promoted its members' brands, through the diffusion of its new catalogue, which has been given to numerous professionals of children’s fashion and childcare products who visited the stand. Children’s Fashion Europe also took the opportunity of this event to inform about the last developments of the European projects , in which it is involved: braM and Design4Children. Moreover, CFE announced at Pitti Bimbo the future inauguration of a branch in Shanghai. In fact, from July to December 2011, the European association will carry out, among other activities, a market study in the Chinese city with the aim of boosting and promoting the presence of its members in the Asian Market. www.childrensfashioneurope.com http://cfeurope.wordpress.com
Children’s Fashion Europe asistirá a la CBM Expo Shangai Children’s Fashion Europe, will attend the Children Baby Maternity Expo, CBM Expo, which will be held from 20th to 22nd of July in the Chinese city of Shanghai. Children’s Fashion Europe (CFE) will count with a promotional booth at the 11th edition of the CBM Expo Shanghai. The fair will bring together 1.100 exhibitors, coming from more than 20 countries, which will show their products in over 80.000 sqm that are in the show. The brands that will be present in this International Event come from the children’s fashion sector, children footwear, accessories, childcare products, furniture, toys and food and hygiene. CFE will promote its member brands in the Chinese market thanks to the booth given by CBM Expo organization. This is the first commercial action that has prepared Children’s Fashion Europe on the occasion of its recent work in Shanghai, where it has a correspondent. CPM - Collection Première Moscow For the first time in Collection Première Moscow’s history, 9 European brands of children fashion will star in the Fashion Show organized by Children's Fashion Europe Association. From the 5th to the 8th of September, the capital of Russia will host the Spring/Summer 2012 collection of nine European companies on one unique catwalk. Those chosen to participate in the 10th Children's Fashion Show are: Blue Seven, Barcarola, Bóboli, Cóndor, Garvalin, Kinderit, Lea Lelo, Mayoral y Special Day. No wonder that year after year a larger number of companies wants to join this fashion show which has become the best showcase for presentation to the Russian market. Since the Fashion Show organization, the representative of Children’s Fashion Europe, Alexandra Curatolo, emphasizes "the great reception the runway has every year, which brings together some of the most representative companies of the sector and has been a really successful participation in 2011". In fact, this fashion edition, which will take place every day, from the 5th to the 8th of September at 15 hours in Hall 8.3, will be the most participative and European of the nine catwalks held so far, always organized with the professionalism and experience of Children's Fashion Europe in collaboration with Igedo. CPM Kids moved at 2.3 pavilion This summer edition of CPM in the Collection Première Moscow, will occupy the entire pavilion 2.3. This change in location is due to the increase number of exhibitors as well as the need to offer more space to present the collections in a proper way. From 5th to 8th of September 2011 internationally known brands, will meet in CPM to present creations for Spring/Summer 2012. Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Finland, Greece, Belgium and Netherlands will be some of the countries represented within the field of children's fashion. Prosumer.NET: CFE presents the Design4Children Project Brussels, 22nd of June: CFE is one of the many participants to the European seminar on consumer Goods research organized by Prosumer.NET, the Networking European Technology Platform addressing Design-based Consumer Goods Industries and Related Research. During the session regarding Strategic Research Themes, in particular the Customization, Personalization and Consumer Empowerment, CFE was invited to present the Association and its project, in particular the Design4Children project, its aims and future results. Once more this has been a great opportunity for the European Association of Children's Fashion and Childcare to meet new stakeholders of the textile and consumer goods sector and start a useful collaboration with the Prosumer.NET platform and its participants. BraM project presented in The Future Of Education Conference The International Conference on “The Future of Education”, celebrated in Florence the 16th and 17th of June, has given the oportunity to CFE to present the BraM project to a public of 250 attendants coming from Universities, Associations and Professional Institutes. The conference gave the chance to share experiences in education programs at an international level: as a matter of fact, participants came from different European countries, USA, Japan, India, Africa, South America and many other countries. CFE introduced for the first time the platform which is now subject to the pilot course, and managed to acquire contacts of interesting potential collaborations for the future development of other projects in the professional education sector.
