CATWALK in COLLECTION PREMIÈRE MOSCOW CPM Moscow, the most important Fashion Trade Fair of Russian market has concluded last September 9th after 4 days of an incredible show! More than 1,300 brands from 31 countries presented their 2011 Spring/Summer trends to more than 18.300 visitors. Their ranges included once again trends in the women’s, men’s, children’s, bridal, evening, body, beach, leather and fur fashions as well as in lingerie and accessories segments. CPM Kids stages itself in the mid and high quality segment with some 80 brands. The number and quality of exhibitors increased again over the last fair and the visitors were able to discover different international styles reflecting the Kids segment in all its facets. The CPM Kids catwalk, once again organized by Children’s Fashion Europe with the collaboration of CPM, was one on the most attractive events of the show. According to the spectators and participant companies, the catwalk has been a great success: the 6 international brands showed on the catwalk their colourful and trendy proposals for Spring/Summer 2011. From Germany, Blue Seven presented a casual and young style collection with safari colours combined with denim chess fabric. Pampolina, with freshness and vitality, introduced to the catwalk designs combining violet and purple colours with pink and warm colour prints. The Spanish brand, Barcarola showed us various dresses on blue and white navy tendency, with sheer smart fabrics. Bóboli, faithful to the style which made it internationally famous, exhibited its colourful and funny collection, ending up on a casual look with flower pattern. Still from Spain, Cóndor presented us designs inspired on North American Golden fifties. Unconcern of those years is represented by big spot patterns dominating in the dresses and in the swimsuits. Another well know fashion made in Spain, Mayoral, delighted us with a collection full of freshness and comfortable for the smallest, where superposition and casual style for them are the most remarkable. Next edition of CPM Moscow will be held from 22 to 25 February 2011 and Children’s Fashion Europe will be pleased to organize again the CPM Kids Catwalk with special discounts for all its associated companies! 1st CHILDREN’S FASHION CATWALK in KIND+JUGEND Hundreds of people attend the spectacular catwalk of Kind + Jugend The fashion show organized by CFE becomes one of the main attractions of the fair and various companies show their interest in a possible new edition An amazing stage was the beginning of the first Kind und Jugend catwalk, considered the most important Childcare show in Europe. A new set of lights and images projected on a screen of leds, leaded to a catwalk-show atmosphere. There seven European brands from Germany, Spain, Holland and Portugal show their collections for spring-summer 2011. From Germany, Blue Seven introduced us to a street wear collection, of young inspiration, where it combined the Denim look together with printed materials. From Spain, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Baby, always loyal to her style that made her internationally famous, brought freshness and vitality to the catwalk with designs full of colours and originality. The Spanish brand, Bóboli, showed us an amusing collection, a casual look with coloured flower prints. Again from Spain, Elisa Menuts, with its always-chic line, presented trend outfits combining stripes and details of navy inspiration, such as navy lapel jacket. Tutto Piccolo, another well-known fashion producer "Made in Spain", presented designs recalling the end of the golden 50’s with big patterns for girls and smart outfits for boys, again in navy colours. Dutch Noppies introduced college trend outfits for the smallest and modern outfits for future mothers, proud of their bellies. And from Portugal, the brand Laranjinha presented us an amusing and colourful line inspired on countryside and farmers. Catwalk has attracted all eyes of the fair. Hundreds of children’s fashion and childcare professionals visited the show from 16th to 18th of September. According to them the parade has been attractive and original. Children’s Fashion Europe is proud of the great reception given to the first catwalk at Kind und Jugend and thanks the companies for their collaboration, as without them it would have been impossible to participate with the best gift on the 50th anniversary of the German fair. NEW MEETING of BRAM PROJECT The city of Boräs (Sweden), headquarters of The Swedish School of Textiles, has been witness of the new meeting of braM’s european project, Brand Management in Children’s Fashion Industry. CFE, whishing to support innovative projects, leads this international plan through which SME’s will be able to get the necessary skills to manage and position their ‘brands’. Namely, the goal is that children’s fashion companies apply the brand skills that adult’s fashion companies are already using. LECTURE OF EUROPEAN CHILDREN’S FASHION IN HONG KONG How is and what’s next in European children’s fashion for autumn winter 2010-2011 season. This will be one of the topics which is going to be deal at Baby and Children’s Products Fair. The biggest Asian sector’s fair that will take place in Hong Kong from 20th to 23rd October. There Children’s Fashion Europe director, Pedro Bravo, will offer a lecture will deal with evolution and future of European industry of children’s products. Among others topics it will be discussed about trends and actors of the European children’s fashion and childcare scene.
A new European project is going to start in the next days. We refer to ‘Design 4 Children’, an initiative led by the Spanish Association for Children's Fashion and Childcare (ASEPRI) and which includes twelve partners from seven EU states.
Just last year edition of Baby and Children’s Products Fair there were more than 20.000 buyers from 120 countries.
The goal of ‘Design 4 Children’ is the development of innovative and cost-effective Design-Support tools for the European childcare products industry. Therefore this will promote the enhancement of children’s comfort and extending products’ lifespan.
With this participation, CFE wants to represent once more European children’s fashion and childcare in international markets, and gain new contacts useful for the association and its collaborators.
