Adapting to Change & Managing Stress

Boost Self-Esteem Month

Feeling good about ourselves contributes to overall well-being. High self-esteem is associated with positive emotions, strong relationships, and a sense of purpose. Conversely, low self-esteem can lead to negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. How can you increase your self-esteem?

ADAPTABILITY is one of our six core values at Children & Families First.

Defined by Oxford Dictionary as “the quality of being able to adjust to new conditions.” We can apply adaptability to both our personal and work lives.

Change is inevitable. Take some time to reflect on how you feel about change This could be an opportunity to get creative, journal your thoughts

Reflection Questions:

What ways do you adapt to change? How do you handle stress when change is anticipated? What opportunities are present? Is there anything I need to let go of? How do I take care of myself during change?
