Background Growing up in the ‘rust-belt’ of Ohio, brick warehouses, steel bridges, and grey skies provided much of the surrounding scenery. Drawn to the colors and textures of industry, urban decay, and graffiti, this eroding infrastructure has become the major target of my photographic documentation. While I was initially under the illusion that northeast Ohio was the epicenter for this urban decay, I soon found that every city, every country, and every continent carried pockets of disintegration. In this booklet, I have selected various digital and film photographs of dissolved and worn subjects, carrying their own different forms of man-inflicted scars and labor infused testaments.
