BRETT’s fish and chip restaurant Brief A branding practice brief based on giving Brett’s fish and chip restaurant a brand refresh to put it on the map in Headingly and surrounding areas. Background / Considerations -The restaurant has no significant branding so this is a real opportunity to experiment and have some fun with the aesthetic and concept of the branding -As it doesn’t have much of a reputation the restaurant needs to be made noticeable to new customers and residents of the local areas of Headingly, Hyde Park, Burley and so further into Leeds -The restaurant currently has a homely and rustic which gives it a certainly understated charm but it lacks impact and doesn’t reflect the quality of the food and experience that I can give its customers. -There is a very nautical idea around the traditional fish and chip dinner which could be investigated and used effectively Mandatory Requirements -The restaurant will require a brand refresh that not only upgrades the current design work, but adds gives more life to the business -The response should include work that leaves customers with a memory of the restaurant that sticks with them and makes them want to visit and visit again Deliverables - Menu - Logo - Restaurant banner/mast head - Napkins - Takeaway packaging - Feedback cards - Stylised cutlery and table set - Grease proof wrapping paper - Posters for the restaurant Studio Deadline
