Colleges and Universities In the area there are a variety of colleges and two universities. California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) is known for its Business Administration Program (one of the only 5% AACSB Accredited), Master of Public Policy and Administration program, and it’s Paramedic program. It’s also known for sports; winning more Big Sky Conference Championships than any other school (34 to date), and the Alex Spanos sports complex. University of California, Davis (UCD) is known for its acclaimed programs for Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Psychology, Economics, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Women in STEM, Innovation, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Fine Arts, and more.
