CHICAGO’S LA RABIDA CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL AWARDED IN NATION’S MOST BEAUTIFUL HOSPITAL CONTEST

National healthcare staffing firm Soliant recognizes 20 U.S. hospitals for their commitment to growing and improving their campuses and outpatient facilities

ATLANTA, GA.— La Rabida Children’s Hospital, located in Chicago, IL, received national recognition as the 18th most beautiful hospital in the nation, with 5,240 votes in the “Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S.” contest.

La Rabida Children’s Hospital was one of 50 hospitals nationwide considered in the “Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S.” contest, which is sponsored by top national healthcare staffing firm Soliant.

The hospital was nominated for its external beauty, matched by the warmth and whimsy of design inside its walls. Also known as the “Gem on the Lake,” La Rabida Children’s Hospital has become a beacon of hope for children with complex medical conditions, developmental disabilities, or those exposed to trauma or abuse.

“Hospital beauty is more than just its physical design and appearance – it is the healthcare staff who create the heart and soul of the hospital through genuine connections with patients,” said Soliant CEO David Alexander. “This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase hospitals for their nurturing staff, comforting aesthetics and innovative designs, which contribute to the overall well-being of patients.”

The annual contest seeks to discover hospitals in the U.S. that are not only beautiful but have unique designs and elements such as soothing art, gardens, or supportive staff that know that laughter is sometimes the best medicine. Beauty starts from within and radiates through the hospital when patients are treated like family, and Soliant wants to recognize those special hospitals. Community members, staff, and patients were given the opportunity to vote for hospitals they feel best represent these qualities.

Malik Yusef returns to Chicago to Perform at City Winery

“The trick is doing what you do, being good to people, being open to the Universe and not being closed off,” he said.

Malik Yusef, a Grammy and Emmy award-winning writer, producer and screenplay writer, is coming to Chicago to do a performance at City Winery on Friday, Aug. 25th. He will be backed by a live band and perform songs he has written for recording artists and original songs he has recorded. He also will have some surprise special guests.

Malik Yusef is very assertive and protective about his energy. He said what is stopping a lot of people is themselves, because they have boundaries and aren’t open. He believes he has been successful because of his adaptability and maneuverability.

“People don’t understand being in flow, it’s called being in the zone, but it’s really being in flow. Everything that you like in life flows. Love, that flows, money, it flows and if you’re open to the flow then all those things can come,” he said.

Throughout his career, Malik Yusef has learned that power is not bad. He has been nominated for the Grammy Awards twelve times and has won eight times. He has written and produced music for Kanye West, Vic Mensa, Beyonce, Drake, Carl Thomas, Raheem DeVaughn and John Legend.

Malik Yusef is signed to G.O.O.D. Music and has

released “The Great Chicago Fire; A Cold Day in Hell” in 2003 and “G.O.O.D. Morning, G.O.O.D. Night” in 2009. The first poem Malik Yusef wrote was called “Dagger.” It was a poem written to his mother. It was a moment of vulnerability for him. He wrote the song, “Sandcastles,” which was recorded by Beyonce, when he was picking up his daughter from ballet when she was a little girl. It is still one of his top songs. He said he was able to write it because he was vulnerable to what the Universe was saying.

Malik Yusef has been able to go from poet to songwriter to screenplay writer to music producer because he has been open to the opportunities that have been presented that would make him uncomfortable. Those opportunities required him to remove his own boundaries and barriers that he set for himself. “I’m a creative, I’m an artist, I’m open,” he said.

Those who attend his performance at City Winery on Aug. 25th can expect laughter, tears, seduction, divinity, opulence and authenticity. He will have singers and rappers, and he will tell the stories of the songs he has written for artists and for himself. Malik Yusef wants people to have a transcendent experience with someone who does this “from the gates of Heaven to the gates of Hell.” “That they were in the presence of greatness, of the Most High Creator of the Universe who we all serve,” he said.

SPRINGFIELD

Under a new law championed by State Senator Mattie Hunter, the Illinois Department of Human Services will collect data on the frequency of stolen SNAP benefits. This comes in response to widespread reports of identity fraud leaving Illinois residents without needed funds to purchase groceries and other necessities.

“SNAP benefits are a lifeline for many Illinois families, and it’s important that we do everything we can to ensure these benefits reach those who need them most,” said Hunter (D-Chicago). “This new law will help us do that by shining a light on the scope of the problem and helping us develop more effective solutions.”

Under the new law, IDHS will have the authority to track how often benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are stolen from their rightful recipients. SNAP participants receive monthly benefits for groceries deposited onto EBT cards, and in recent months, card skimming has increased significantly in many states. IDHS began collecting data on card skimming and other fraud methods in December 2022, making it unclear how much theft had previously occurred. IDHS will be required to report its findings to the General Assembly annually beginning on Jan. 1, 2024.

Last year, Congress passed legislation to replace SNAP benefits stolen between Oct. 1, 2022 and Sept. 30, 2024. House Bill 2214 serves as a starting point for Illinois to gain a clearer understanding of the scope and frequency of SNAP benefit fraud in the state, allowing for more effective measures to be put in place to combat this issue.

“Every dollar allocated for SNAP assistance needs to reach those who need it, and this law is a step forward in our fight against fraud,” Hunter added.

House Bill 2214 was signed by the governor on Friday.

SENATOR SIMS PROTECTS RELIGIOUS FREEDOMS FOR INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS

SPRINGFIELD — State Senator Elgie R. Sims, Jr. worked to protect the freedoms of incarcerated individuals by enshrining into law their rights to freely practice their religion.

“When someone commits a crime, they do not cease to be human,” said Sims (D-Chicago). “Religious freedom is a fundamental aspect of humanity.”

House Bill 3055 — known as the Faith Behind Bars Act — ensures incarcerated individuals in Illinois remain the right to freely practice their religion while in state correctional facilities.

Under the law, correctional facilities will be required to provide people with religious readings and other religious materials that may be necessary for them to freely practice. It also requires correctional facilities to allow individuals a proper place to pray and adhere to people’s religious dietary restrictions.

“Religion plays an important role in easing a prisoner’s transition back into the community upon release,” said Sims. “Incarcerated individuals deserve to be able to turn to their faith during a time they need it most.”

House Bill 3055 was signed into law Friday.

Black Executives Support Small Businesses Through SCORE

WASHINGTON, PRNewswire -- Black business owners are more likely to seek –but less likely to receive – outside funding than white business owners, according to a survey by SCORE, mentors to America’s small businesses. To help improve this disparity in resources, Black executives can bring their valuable insights and perspectives to the table as business mentors. This National Black Business Month, SCORE encourages Black executives to consider volunteering their time and expertise to support entrepreneurs and build a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Helping small businesses succeed

Useful, actionable advice from a mentor can go a long way in assisting an entrepreneur on their business journey. As a co-owner of My College Tours, SCORE client Olu Abney described the impact his mentor had on his business perspective. “We don’t look to just have clients, we look to build long-lasting relationships,” said Abney. “SCORE was essential in helping us realize this.”

SCORE relies on the expertise and knowledge of experienced business professionals – including Black executives – to support aspiring entrepreneurs and contribute to economic growth and diversity. “Just look at the number of businesses started by people of color, and especially women of color. There is a movement that your talent can be poured back into,” said SCORE North Metro

Atlanta mentor Marvy Moore. “Whatever you bring to the table, added with the resources from SCORE, you can be a tremendous resource to small businesses.”

How to get involved

SCORE offers several ways for Black executives to volunteer their time and expertise:

Mentor: Black executives can serve as mentors, offering guidance and sharing their industry-specific knowledge with entrepreneurs. This one-on-one mentorship

can be conducted in person, over the phone or through virtual platforms, ensuring flexibility for both mentors and mentees.

Workshop Facilitator: SCORE conducts workshops and seminars to educate entrepreneurs on various business topics. Black executives can contribute by leading workshops on subjects where they possess expertise, such as leadership, marketing, finance or strategic planning.

Subject Matter Expert: Black executives can volunteer to provide specialized knowledge on specific industry sectors, such as technology, healthcare or retail, and assist SCORE in developing resources and content tailored to these areas.

Ready to get started?

For Black executives interested in volunteering with SCORE, visit www.score. org/volunteer to learn more and apply online. SCORE can offer a skills assessment to match volunteers’ expertise with the needs of entrepreneurs seeking mentoring or workshop facilitation. SCORE also understands the importance of flexibility and can accommodate various levels of availability.

Since 1964, SCORE has helped more than 11 million entrepreneurs start, grow or successfully exit a business. SCORE’s 10,000 volunteers provide free, expert mentoring, resources and education in all 50 U.S. states and territories. Visit SCORE at www.score.org.

TARTE COSMETICS ANNOUNCES SECOND ANNUAL ‘SHAPE YOUR FUTURE™’ SMALL BUSINESS AWARDS

NEW YORK, PRNewswire -- tarte cosmetics, a leading beauty brand known for its commitment to giving back and empowering entrepreneurs, proudly announces the Second Annual Shape Your Future™ Small Business Awards. The program will grant $300,000 to Black female entrepreneurs starting in National Black Business Month in August.

For over two decades, tarte’s mission has been rooted in empowering and supporting others. With this announcement, tarte is doubling down on those efforts to directly support the larger entrepreneurial community.

Acknowledging that less than 1% of venture-backed capital currently reaches Black-owned businesses,* and only 0.34% of total capital spent in the US is directed to Black female startup founders,** tarte recognized the importance of dedicated financial support and growth resources, driving the brand’s commitment to support Black female entrepreneurs now and into the future.

The Shape Your Future™ Awards, a cornerstone of tarte’s commitment to giving back, will empower and create pathways to accelerate the advancement of Black female-owned businesses. The $300,000 in awards will be funded equally, with tarte contributing $150,000 and tarte Founder and CEO Maureen Kelly personally pledging an additional $150,000. Kelly’s own experience building tarte from the ground up fuels her desire to pay it forward.

“I’m grateful to everyone who helped me along the way, and that’s why lifting up other entrepreneurs is so important to me,” says Maureen Kelly, Founder and CEO of tarte cosmetics. “Supporting Black small business owners is one way to help shape a more inclusive, equitable and thriving business landscape.”

The program will offer two tiers of funding for appli-

cants, 6 awards of $25,000 and 15 awards of $10,000 each, tailored to the unique needs and sizes of the selected small businesses. Beyond the monetary award, each recipient will receive ongoing, exclusive mentorship with key tarte executives across departments including, finance, legal, supply chain, public relations, social media, and marketing to help grow and scale their businesses.

Taking this commitment one step further, award recipients will be the first to experience a new program with the brand, tarte labs™. This innovative resource and incubation center will provide entrepreneurs, creators and artists access to necessary tools to elevate their enterprises. tarte labs™ will operate out of the brand’s New York City headquarters and offer support including studio and content creation space, media templates, contract and legal document guidance, and more. These initiatives, in addition to hiring DEI agency, Black Beauty Roster (BBR), are part of tarte’s ongoing dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This program is one of many that tarte has executed over the years, having always put giving back at the forefront of the business. In addition to monetary contributions and millions of in-kind donations through various charitable partners, tarte engages in the community through education initiatives including tartelette U, the brand’s firstof-its-kind college mentorship program and an on-going tradition of clearing teachers’ wishlists through tarte loves teachers.

Rep. Robin Kelly Highlights Agricultural, Nutrition Assistance Priorities on District Farm Tour

KANKAKEE, IL – As Members of Congress returned home for the August district work period, Congresswoman Robin Kelly (IL-02) embarked on a comprehensive tour of farms, businesses, and health care facilities in the rural areas of her district.

Congresswoman Kelly heard directly from farmers about what they need from the upcoming Farm Bill in order to thrive. Congresswoman Kelly’s visit emphasized the need for continued support for small farms, as well as nutrition assistance programs like SNAP.

The tour began with a visit to Cow Creek Farm in Paxton. The family farm, spanning five generations, grows a diversified range of crops and recently founded Silver Tree Beers & Spirits, utilizing homegrown crops to produce spirits. The farm emphasizes an organic and environmentally sustainable operation.

The Congresswoman also visited Gibson Area Hospital & Health Systems and Slagel Family Farm in Fairbury. Throughout the tour, Congresswoman Kelly engaged with various stakeholders and farmers, recognizing the significance of their contributions to the local economy, and emphasizing her commitment to understanding their needs.

The day ended at O’Connor Farm in Kankakee, where Congresswoman Kelly hosted a “Barn Hall” to hear directly from farmers and stakeholders from across her district.

“I want to hear directly from farmers about what their needs are,” Congresswoman Kelly said. “Members of Congress don’t have all the answers, we rely on the people who are working on the ground to shape our priorities. Conversations like these help me fight for what my constituents really need when I go back to Washington.”

Gov. Pritzker Signs Legislation Expanding Youth Access to Prosthetics Care

SPRINGFIELD – Governor JB Pritzker signed SB 2195, also known as the “So Kids Can Move” initiative, which will allow thousands of children and youth with limb loss or limb difference to afford prosthetic care that enables them to participate in physical activities. This legislation makes Illinois just the fourth state in the nation to pass this act.

“Our children deserve quality healthcare and today we take another step to make that a reality,” said Governor JB Pritzker. “I’m proud to sign this legislation into law that will provide thousands of children with the appropriate prosthetic care they need to participate in physical activities—ensuring they can remain active and health y.”

“The So Kids Can Move Initiative expands pathways to equitable healthcare by providing children and their families access to pr osthetic care — and it is a critical step in the mission to ensure every child has access to the care and resources they need to play, be active, and thrive,” said Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton. “We must continue breaking down barriers so our youngest Illinoisans with limb loss or limb difference can lead full lives and reach new heights with the support they need and deserve.”

The legislation requires insurance coverage for medically necessary prosthetic or custom orthotic devices to maximize the patient’s whole -body health and function. It amends the Accident and Health Article of the Illinois Insurance Code and codifies that with respect to an enrollee at any age, coverage of a prosthetic or custom orthotic device shall be provided.

13th Annual Take Flight College Send-Off bids farewell to 180 CHA students heading to college

CHICAGO (Aug. 8, 2023) - About 180 public housing students preparing to embark on college life celebrated with a giant trunk party Wednesday at the Chicago Housing Authority’s 13th annual Take Flight College Send-Off at the United Center.

Schools from as close as University of Illinois Chicago to the University of Southern California were represented The trunk party was made possible thanks to the generous support of Molina Healthcare, AT&T and the Chicago Bulls. It was hosted by Springboard to Success, the nonprofit partner of CHA.

“Many of you are receiving financial aid to help you pay for tuition, but we also understand that financial aid doesn’t cover everything, and that there are a lot of out-of-pocket expenses that come with going off to college,” said CHA CEO Tracey Scott, who was the emcee “That’s why we started Take Flight 13 years ago – to meet a critical need by providing students with dorm room necessities like linens, towels, lamps and pillows.”

The growth of Take Flight over the years has been due in large part to CHA’s nonprofit

partner Springboard to Success and its fundraising efforts. CEO Scott thanked S2S for that support.

Meanwhile, soon-to-be freshmen wrote their goals on the Affirmation Board, took photos in graduation cutouts and pinned the local and national map where their college is

located.

One of the attendees was Demarion Brown, who will be attending UIC this Fall. As a senior at Johnson College Prep last year, he noticed a bump on his thigh. Before he knew it, he was undergoing tests. Surgery was needed to remove a cancerous tumor.

Brown still has a way to go before he gets the all clear from doctors, but he was happy to be at Thursday’s event. He is interested in entrepreneurship

“I’m doing ok,” he said “I’m just waiting to get these surgeries over with. But my summer job helps me stay motivate and humble. And I’m excited to meet new people and make new friends in college.”

Meanwhile, Brown’s mother, Charlene, has faith that Demarion will overcome this health crisis.

“After all this, he remains humble and never complains – he just goes about his day,” she said “I am so proud.”

Demarion, who last year was awarded a Chicago Hope scholarship that removes financial barriers for CPS students to receive awards that cover tuition, room and board and books and fees, was especially excited about being in the United Center Thursday. He describes himself as a “sports head” and hopes to own his own sports business one day.

SPELMAN ALUMNAE LAUNCH ‘WOMEN FOR GOLDEN FUTURES’ INITIATIVE TO RAISE FUNDS TO AID AND UPLIFT NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS AND GAMECHANGERS

Classof1974graduateleadersmarktheirupcoming50thanniversarybycommittingtoraise$1millionfortheirreveredinstitution,specificallytoaddressthemosturgentstudentneeds

ATLANTA, GA – Taking a major step beyond merely reuniting for their 50th anniversary since walking across the stage as graduates of Spelman College, leaders of the class of 1974 have opted to give back to the storied institution and its current students in a big way, having developed and launched the national “Women for Golden Futures” (WFGF) fundraising initiative.

With their set goal to raise $1 million dollars annually in philanthropic donations within the next year, the purpose-driven impact group is rallying alumnae friends of Spelman, Black female entrepreneurs and those who simply want to make a difference, to unite and generously share their success with deserving current students by investing in, affirming and supporting the nation’s young Black women who’ll go forth and positively transform the world.

The funds raised through the campaign will go directly to the college and will be used specifically for the Women for Golden Futures Scholarship and the Student Support Fund for those deserving young women whose education and futures are at risk due to a shortage in fiscal resources.

“This is a unique effort that welcomes supporters to contribute to helping fulfill the dreams and aspirations of our nation’s coming generations of Black women leaders,” says Mildred Whittier, WFGF campaign spokesperson. “Anyone is invited to partner with us. One may not necessarily be an alumna of Spelman College, but all of us have a keen awareness of the need, as well as the critical

importance of uplifting our young Black women— especially in times like these,” she added.

“Our heartfelt intent is to help anchor our young women by providing financial assistance to cover vital costs like housing, food insecurity, technology equipment, books, medical attention, childcare, transportation, school fees and more,” Whittier relates further. “While the College certainly works hard to secure funding for emergency student assistance, we want to step up and do our part to fill the gap, and make sure that that funding is never depleted so they can stay in the classroom and continue their educational journeys. If not us, then whom?”

Amputee Coalition, and the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists are grateful to Governor Pritzker for signing this life-changing legislation into law,” said Eve Lee, MBA, CAE, American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association Executive Director. “In doing so, the healthcare inequity that Illinoisans living with limb loss and limb difference experience when they are unable to afford and access orthotic and prosthetic care that helps them be physically active due to inadequate insurance coverage is being addressed. Ultimately, thousands of lives, including the lives of the numerous advo-

cates who were instrumental in getting this legislation passed will be impacted.”

“ The signing of SB 2195 into law is a great day in the limb loss, limb difference and limb impairment community,” said Allie Johnson, Paralympian 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. “Access to sport has been so life changing for me and I can’t wait to see more amputees and limb difference/impaired individuals trying new things and breaking down barriers!”

“Thanks to incredible advances in technology, movement, exercise and sport are available to a

new generation of people with limb loss,” said State Rep. Will Guzzardi (IL-39). “And with the passage of Senate Bill 2195, we’re making sure that this life-changing technology is available to everyone who might benefit from it.”

“On behalf of patients who will now have access to prosthetic and custom orthotic devices to engage in healthy physical activities, we thank Senate and House members for their bipartisan support. And Governor Pritzker for signing SB 2195 in law,” said James Kaiser, CP/LP President, Illinois Society of Orthotists & Prosthetists.

Education, Labor Departments Announce New Efforts to Advance Teacher Preparation Programs and Expand Registered Apprenticeships for Educators

The U.S. Departments of Education and Labor today announced a series of new efforts to expand Registered Apprenticeships for educators and invest in teacher preparation programs. These efforts advance a key focus area of the Department of Education’s Raise the Bar: Lead the World initiative to boldly improve learning conditions by eliminating educator shortages and build on a joint letter sent by the Secretaries of Education and Labor last summer, which called on state education and workforce leaders to take action to address educator shortages. Today’s announcement includes:

New National Guidelines for Apprenticeship Standards (NGS) for Registered Apprenticeships for K-12 teachers developed by The Pathways Alliance;

More than $27 million from the Department of Education to support educator preparation programs;

More than $65 million from the Department of Labor to develop and scale Registered Apprenticeship programs in critical sectors across 45 states—with 35 targeting education;

The Department of Labor is announcing a new industry intermediary to launch, promote and expand Registered Apprenticeship programs for K-12 educators; and

A policy brief authored by the Department of Education that highlights how states are taking strategic steps outlined by the Biden-Harris Administration to support the effective recruitment, preparation, and retention of teachers.

“Teacher apprenticeships are a key strategy in our plan to Raise the Bar in education and improve learning conditions in our schools by ending the educator shortage and providing all students with great teachers who are prepared to succeed in the classroom from day one,” said U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. “Providing opportunities for future teachers to earn while they learn has created an affordable and exciting pathway into the teaching profession that can help states build a talented and diverse pipeline of educators at a moment when doing so has never mattered more. I’m thrilled that in just one year, the Biden-Harris Administration has helped grow the number of states with Registered Apprenticeship programs for teachers from two to 21, and look forward to these new guidelines helping get all 50 states get onboard.”

“The Department of Labor’s investments will enable states to strengthen educator pipelines and create pathways to opportunity through a proven earn-as-you-learn model of Registered Apprenticeships,” said Acting U.S. Secretary of Labor Julie Su. “This important partnership with the U.S. Department of Education advances the Biden-Harris Administration’s whole-of-government approach to building a highly-skilled, diverse workforce that is reflective of the communities that teachers serve.”

“We are grateful to the Departments of Labor and Education and all of our partner organizations for their leader-

ship and partnership in developing these apprenticeship standards,” said Erin Mote from The Pathways Alliance. “More than just guidelines, these standards represent our collective commitment to nurturing a preparation pipeline that supports broad access to high-quality preparation and champions diversity and inclusivity for educators.”

National Guidelines for K-12 Teacher Registered Apprenticeships:

The newly released National Guidelines for Apprenticeship Standards (NGS) for Registered Apprenticeships for K-12 teachers was developed by The Pathways Alliance and approved by the Department of Labor. The NGS can guide states, school districts, and other apprenticeship sponsors to align their programs to quality standards for K-12 teachers. It also provides a framework that partners can use to develop state specific program standards and provide for expedited development and approval of new apprenticeship programs.

The Pathways Alliance NGS working group included the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, National Education Association, American Federation of Teachers, Learning Policy Institute, National Association of Workforce Boards, National Center for Grow Your Own, National Center for Teacher Residencies, Arizona State University, Cooperative Educational Service Agency 6, Deans for Impact, InnovateEDU, Inspire Texas, Prepared To Teach, Substantial, and TeachMe Education.

How to Set Up the Ultimate Workstation for Kids at Home

guarantee your child’s academic success? While you can’t control what goes on in the classroom, you can facilitate their study time at home by setting up an A+ workstation. Here’s how:

1. Choose a location: Select a location that’s well-lit, preferably with some natural light, and away from noise and distractions. Whether it’s your child’s bedroom or a corner of the dining area, the area should be large enough for all their supplies and tech to stay organized.

2. Use color wisely: Research has shown that certain colors have the power to boost productivity and creativity or promote a sense of calm. Decorating the space with care could potentially help your student weather crunch periods with ease. You may also opt to color code binders, dividers and other supplies by coursework so that your child can quickly identify the items they need.

3. Update tech: Equip the workstation with the latest technology and educational tools. For easy essay composition, your child’s suite of devices should include a tablet or laptop and a printer. To get your student prepped for math and science classes, be sure to supply them with a graphing calculator featuring the latest capabilities. The fx9750GIII, for example, is not only stylishly available in trending colors, it’s capable of programming in CASIO Basic and MicroPython. Python files are easily stored and transferred via USB to a computer. With graph and statistical functions, exam compatibility mode and a suite educational resources, your student will be well prepared to take on all their STEM coursework and test prep.

4. Prevent clutter: Clutter can

pile up all too easily, making it difficult to find notes and assignments. Keep the mess to a minimum with the addition of a few organizational tools. Hang a corkboard to post reminders and to-do lists. Add wall shelving or a sorting tray to keep papers filed by subject area or due date, and use small baskets or cups to collect erasers, paper clips and other small supplies. Finally, be sure the workstation has its own waste bin, so that items that are no longer needed can be efficiently tossed or recycled.

5. Consider ergonomics: Eliminate distractions by making sure the workstation is ergonomic-friendly and comfy. If your child sits at a desk, ensure their computer monitor is at eye level and that their feet touch the floor. Adjustable laptop tables can transform a makeshift work area on the couch or bed into a comfortable workstation. By setting up a dedicated homework area designed for productivity, you can help your student make the grade.
