$40 monthly subscription or five sessions for $55 or $12 drop-in The ability to draw the human figure is an essential artform and vital to those who wish to continue to develop their observational drawing skills. The Life Drawing Studio is an open studio for professional and emerging artists, students, and anyone interested in drawing the human form. People work independently and at their own level of experience. While no formal instruction is provided, support and encouragement is given. A variety of male and female models with different body shapes and ages are booked for the open studio.

In this class students will learn the basic elements of illustration and composition including basic anatomy, perspective and foreshortening. Students will also move on to the art of inking pencilled drawings to add colour and finally put it all together to tell a story.

Know kids that have always wanted to be an actor for film and TV? In these on-camera classes students will get to act and try scenes from movies, TV shows, and commercials. Kids will showcase their acting ability, no matter your skill level, learn professional acting techniques, get prepared to audition for agents and casting directors, and finally see themselves on the big screen for the final public showcase!

Calling all kids that love animation and stopmotion! If the kids love to create their own characters, play with lego, or watch animation, this is the class they’ve been waiting for! This class will teach kids how to make fun stopmotion art to share with their friends and family, so bring your own toys and get ready to have lots of fun! Learn to create a story, use still cameras, and learn four different computer programs. The best videos will be shown at a public screening at the class finale.
