REAL WEDDINGS
AMY & TOM Amy walking down the aisle in a custom Birenzweig gown was a truly special moment. Six years ago, she was in a serious accident that left her with lifelong injuries resulting in surgeries and therapy so she could relearn how to walk. Seeing her walk down the aisle to the man of her dreams was a beautiful sight for all of her family and friends. Amy and Tom’s wedding at Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead was magical. The grand ballroom was enhanced with over-the-top, sophisticated floral and décor which included lush wisteria arbors, an abundance of white florals and romantic candlelight. In addition, a one-of-a-kind star icicle installation was hung above the dance floor – taking over 24 hours to install. Two other features that wowed guests were a martini ice luge bar and a confetti blast that ended the night with a bang. After the ceremony and dinner, guests were entertained by the couple’s favorite live band, The Chicago Players, that kept everyone dancing. When they needed a break, an elegant and decadent 16-foot-long dessert display showcased an assortment of treats mirroring the elegance and sophistication of the rest of the wedding. Amy’s favorite, Waffle House, was served at the after-party for a late-night treat. Amy says she couldn’t have done any of it without the help of her wedding planner as she ensured the whole night was perfect.
