The project provides a communial space for both local residents and artists, intends to provide ways to experience glassblowing to a boarder audiences beyond typical glassblowers. Considered glassblowing history, it has been an exclusive art form throughout history and still remains as a minority art. This project is an opportunity to reintroduce glassblowing to the public. To serve the needs for both the neighborhood and art district, the design combines Park, garden, living quarter, gallery, glassblowing studio altogether in an open space and organizes the different elements in a system that inspired by the amorphous structure of glass which captures its fluidity, flexibility and impermanence in the garden.

I am an actionist. I believe execution is as important as the idea. After a semester long relationship with the project and the site, I feel the obligation to create an installation at the site to express my project idea. With the use of paint, I mildly expressed my design concept and created a contemporary installation at the project site.
