The Institute for Family-Centered Healing & Health will address the deeply-felt needs of foster and adoptive parents to nurture the healing and health of their children, rooted in Scripture and the best available research.
Foundational Truths
The nurturing home is an essential environment for healing and health. A life lived unto God is distinctively good for human flourishing. Positive outlooks, habits, and character form especially through small daily practices over time.
True health involves the whole person - the body, mind, spirit, and relationships.
Our Work
We aim to help organizations, agencies, and churches better support the families they serve. The Institute will operate as a dynamic hub for practitioners, experts, and other leaders – curating best-in-class current resources, creating new resources to fill gaps, and working together to cultivate continuous improvement in thinking and practice across the field.
Resources
The Institute will provide immensely practical guidance resources tailored for Christian foster and adoptive parents, including:
• Online, print, and video content
• Webinar trainings and other virtual learning experiences
• Strategic in-person events, including the annual CAFO Summit
