You’re invited to come a join us for the CWIB Conference and Retreat!
This weekend is going to be a little different to other conferences out there, by now you know that we’re not that big on hype or in your face learning. We like to take a laid back, Holy Spirit driven approach and this conference and retreat is aimed at giving you a chance to take two days out before you begin your year.
Our CWIBCC19 has been created to help you centre yourself with Jesus, be with likeminded women and have space for you to stop and let your mind switch off from the day-to-day things so you can focus on your year ahead.

Day One
We will be hearing from some amazing inspirational women of God who are setting up Commerce stores made by local families in Cambodia get out of poverty, another speaker who is travelling around the country teaching young ladies how to become great leaders by embracing who they are and how you can do that too, and a powerhouse for Jesus who loves helping women in business diving deep into the word.
Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to socialise and chill between sessions :)
Day Two
Will be a more hands on day where you’ll take part in workshops to help you tune in to the year ahead and work on your business.

Where did you meet your hunky
husband and what year did you get married? Matty and I met at a mixed netball game. Matty was asked by a mutual friend to fill in for our netball team one night. The moment I saw him I thought he was gorgeous and became very flustered and shy. I couldn't look at him. Somehow through my awkwardness Matty noticed me and after that game he made sure he attended events he knew I would be at. His pickup line was asking me to teach him to surf! We had our first date in 2008 and we were married in 2009.
Coffee or tea? Oh I adore both! Coffee in the morning and tea for the rest of the day.
If you were going to be stuck on a desert island what’s one
thing you’d take with you? Oh this is so hard to choose just one thing! Assuming I had my family with me and the island had plenty of food (is that cheating on the question?)...I would take my journal and pen. I really treasure having a journal to record what God is saying to me, the ideas I get or the prayers that I pray.
If you could tell your younger self one thing what would it be?
I would say "be kind to yourself, you are pretty wonderful." Be kind in the way you think of yourself, be kind in the words you use over yourself. You don't have to have it all perfect or figured out. You are learning and growing. But all that you learn and go through God is going to use it for good.
If you could go back to any point in time where would you go
and why? I would go back and relive our wedding day and honeymoon in the Maldives. It was the most beautiful, exciting and joyful time I have ever experienced. It was a dream I never thought I would experience. I just want to soak in it all over again!
What are you looking forward to most about the CWIB
Conference? I can't begin to explain how excited I am about this CWIB Conference. I know it’s going to be powerful, extraordinary, inspiring and God breathed. To think of all the beautiful trailblazers intentionally gathering to lean into God and impart heaven breathed wisdom to each other...well that is absolutely something I do not want to miss. I know the ripple effects of these few days will be beyond what we can comprehend.
Meet Sharryn Ludlow
founder of Grace & Confidence, Sharryn has an inspiring past full of crusades and is now helping one woman at a time, know who they are in God, through her coaching, tapping into the secret gift of the Holy Spirit.
Where did you meet your hunky husband and what year did you get married?
I met my husband at high school, year 12, 1987 (wow.. I think that makes me REALLY old). He and I shared some classes throughout the year and teased each other without mercy. By the end of the year we were dating. We were together 3 years until I got saved. I went off to YWAM to follow Jesus and we split up (Jan 91). Fast forward Jan 92, he got saved, we got back together and married Oct 1992
Coffee or tea? < forget this question… we already know… COFFEE! Lol. Coffee is my first name! Tea is reserved for ‘special’ occasions.
If you were going to be stuck on a desert island what’s one thing you’d take with you?
Large print bible - because I’d need glasses but if I only have one thing, the bible would have to be in large print ;) If you could tell your younger self one thing what would it be? Friends will come and go, don’t compromise yourself to feel accepted.
If you could go back to any point in time where would you go and why?
I would go back to the moment when a powerful woman of God spoke to me and said very intently ‘DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?’ And I nodded and said yes of course I do. She looked at me harder and said ‘DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU REALLY ARE? MY GOD…’ I never stopped to ask what she had perceived, I thought I ‘knew’. I wasted time after that and lost ground in my faith because I really did not know.
What are you looking forward to most about the CWIB Conference?
Face to face, hug to hug, connections with beautiful women of God and to be part of the moment that God is stirring in Australia and the world using all of us We’re so looking forward to kicking back and spending this time with you!
Meet Randa Habilreh
founder of the MATES program. Randa loves nothing more than seeing women and people have confidence in themselves and their ability
Where did you meet your hunky husband and what year did you get married?
We met briefly just once when I was 12 years old the night before his mum sent him to boarding school in Ireland! He was living in the Sudan and we were there for Christmas holidays. After he finished high school he went to England for his university studies. We did not meet again until I was 22 and he and his family migrated to Australia. Because our mothers were friends we bumped into each other and he persistently followed me around until I finally became interested in him!!!!
Coffee or tea? Definitely coffee!
If you were going to be stuck on a desert island what’s one
thing you’d take with you? A magnifying glass so I could start a fire, I hate to be cold at night and also I could cook with the fire and it would keep insects away. (My second item would be a swiss army knife…am I allowed a second item???)
If you could tell your younger self one thing what would it be?
I would tell that self-conscious curly haired teen that GHD’s are coming!
If you could go back to any point in time where would you go
and why? I would not go back, there’s no point looking backwards.
What are you looking forward to most about the CWIB
Conference? I can’t wait to meet like-minded women who are not afraid of incorporating their Christianity into their businesses.
