Verse of the Week: John 3:14-15
Jesus, may our hearts be burning With more fervent love for You; May our eyes be ever turning To behold Your cross anew Till in glory, parted never From the blessèd Savior’s side, Graven in our hearts forever, Dwell the cross, the Crucified. LSB 423: Public domain
Pastor Claude Houge will be leading worship and Bible Study this weekend, continuing with the “Thy will be done” theme in Bible class on Sunday morning. Come and see & hear how Norman Rockwell fits into the theme “Look Up and Live.”
Special Voters’ Meeting Postponed The special Voters’ Meeting that was scheduled for Sunday, March 18, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. The Council needs to discuss more information before the Agenda can be posted, which is required before a Voters’ Meeting. We will share the new date as soon as it is determined.
Lenten Service This Week In the “Thy Will Be Done” special service on Wednesday March 14th at 7pm, we will be led to remember that, on the road to Damascus, Paul had his worldview turned upside down when God called him to preach the name of the Christ he had been persecuting. We follow God’s will by putting the crucified Christ at the center of our worldview.
Sunday Morning Bible Class We are continuing a new 6-week Bible study with the Lenten theme “Thy Will Be Done.” As we look at the Biblical characters of Abraham, Moses, David, Mary, Paul, and Lydia, we see how God’s will for them stood in sharp contrast to their own dreams, ambitions, worldviews, and identities. The call of God through the Gospel changed everything for them, and it has changed everything for us. Please join us!
This Sunday is the last day to order Easter Flowers! Lilies $8.00

This week's Sunday School lesson is "The Baptism of Jesus." At Jesus' Baptism, God the Father said Jesus was His beloved Son. God, our Father in heaven, made us His children through water and the Word and invites us to PRAY without fear and to ask for anything.
