A BRIEF MESSAGE:
FOREWORD CIMSA, which stands for Center for Indonesian Medical Students’ Activities, born May 6th, 2001, is an independent, nationalist, inclusive, non-politic, and nonparty organization with the vision to empower medical students and improving the nation’s health. By early 2021, CIMSA consists of 27 universities across Indonesia with more than 9,000 active members and 400 activities every year. CIMSA is known as a youth organization creating innovative activities and tangible impact to bring better ways in creating a healthier Indonesia by empowering medical students. For 20 years, CIMSA has progressed into an established and professional youth organization. We always thrive to engage in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 agenda by providing medical students with the necessary skills to make an impact. CIMSA has been working with tons of national and international organizations in doing our activities over the years. We are thriving to work in synergy with multisectoral stakeholders to create a healthier Indonesia whilst nurturing our members.
This year, CIMSA will be commemorating our 20th anniversary as an organization. For 20 years, CIMSA has proven itself to be a top youth organization reflected by substantial national and international awards received every year. We were awarded as one of the best youth organizations for consecutive years by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs of Indonesia, top activities in international activities awards, and many more! I believe that there is still plenty of room for us to grow and I’m very happy to be a part of this journey.
