“I specialise in fine art, including photography with precious metals; hand-gilded with 24ct gold, palladium and copper. These pieces are all unique and the metals shimmer from a side angle but can often not be seen from the front. My passion to create new and interesting work with meaning and a depth that can withstand time, led me to the pioneering photography with Precious Metals Collection. Each work has an element of nature, our environment and people.”

Using color, flow, three-dimensionality, and texture to express herself, Ms. Printz creates paintings that transcend the familiar. Her artworks are famous for drawing viewers in and inviting them to assign personal meaning and universal context by listening to the whispers of their imaginations. Printz paintings seem to have a magical quality; they can change completely depending upon the angle at which you gaze.

Gayle Printz would say, “As with life, the meaning in my work, depends upon the way you look at it.” Although it seems impossible to anyone who has seen her artwork, Gayle Printz picked up her first paintbrush in May of 2020. For Ms. Printz, creating these remarkable works of art during the pandemic helped her bring lightness and beauty back into a world that was interrupted. Now, by encouraging each of us to use our imagination as the lens through which to find meaning in her work, Gayle Printz can share that beauty with any viewer open to embarking upon this subconscious journey. A limited quantity of her award-winning museum quality paintings has been released for sale at www. GaylePrintz.com. Already lining the walls of prominent Art Collectors and Investors around the Globe, Gayle Printz’s paintings have proven to be a worthy investment.

“At the moment my art consists of creative, abstract photography, most of which were created through drawings, paper cuttings, foils and light sources, photographed and processed on the computer. I make series out of this and use them to tell short visual stories.” Monika Bendner was born in Berlin and dealt with art at an early age. She gained experience in painting and figural art. In Munich, she attended a private Art Academy, later in Frankfurt she took several courses at the BBK and in Kronberg / Taunus for Painting, Drawing, Etching and Photography. Awaken my Beloved My light descends upon you Your body glows in the radiance of my love I have not abandoned you You once danced in the sacred circles Under a rising moon Do you remember? I feel that women and men are ill-served today by a women’s spirituality that once flourished for thousands of years in Paleolithic and Neolithic times. By combing the poetic word with the art image I have created a powerful expression that addresses the dark chasm of contemporary feminine spirituality. ‘AWAKEN MY BELOVED’ is an attempt to restore women’s ancient spiritual soul.”

Enmai uses several threads freely like with a painting brush with ink, to spread out the composition. In most cases, the picture is done in one go. “Everything in the universe is waves. Lines are images of waves. When threads are thrown, the artist must give up his thought, let strings become the protagonists. The unique works obtained combine the power of higher spaces. This requires the artist to improve his spiritual height and depth continuously.”

Then preparing for a series, I naturally wondered: What do we wish to wear when we want to woo our world? My answer: “You Know You Want Me” series. Painting seduced me; my paintings are to woo you. It is the fusion of art with fashion, and me with you, that enables my work to become whole. It’s simple yet difficult.”

“Although tapestry was relatively new to me, I was aware of the role played by Jean Lurçat. In 1956 and for the next three years, I relied upon the expertise of the traditional weavers of Zouk Mikael (Lebanon); I then increased the width of the looms so that it became possible to execute basse-lisse wall tapestries of all dimensions, while keeping the shuttle and the large comb. I created life-size cartoons with numbers corresponding to the colours so that the weavers could interpret my cartoons in wool acquired from Aubusson. I introduced a new weaving technique that averted the troublesome “slits” resulting from colour changes on the loom and chose the “petit point” for a tighter weft. Contrary to the prevailing preference for series, I decided to create a single tapestry per cartoon.”

Vasara paints in oil or watercolor, with her main subjects being the view, space and the environment. She is fascinated by traditional landscape painting. The basis of her artwork is to create an illusion of the threedimensional space and to make a viewer reflect the meaning of the environment. Vasara focuses on having a constant dialogue with the surrounding reality. Its existence and expressions are made real by painting.

“My inspiration is beauty, movement, and interaction between body, soul, and spirit and my artworks often end up in different directions between inner and outer landscapes or the connection of the wholeness. Like Edward Hopper says: “If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint.”

“My current project was born from an interest to know and experience on-site very different idiosyncrasies, just like the ones from India, Morocco, Southeast Asia and Chile among others. When we observe in depth the diversity of the manifestations of each culture, contained in these multiple rituals, we discover a common thread among them. This common thread is the essence that drives humans to express their faith, their devotion through rituals, something that will give him or her existential answers.”

“When I moved to the West, I felt called to a new artistic path. By painting from my gut instead of my head, with no concern for what the paintings meant or whether they looked like something, I was able to free up an inner person. I began to have a more abstract way of seeing the world. When the work is going well, I am caught up in the doing of my art. I hope that the viewer will find something meaningful or is moved in some way. If so we have communicated.”

Another World I Ink and pastel 90 x 60 cm

Waltraud Gemein was born in 1951 and lives and works in Germany. Her figures represent the unity of all living beings, humans, animals or vegetables. There are only gradual differences between these three forms of being, not essential. With her works the artist wants to reflect on the infinite levels of being. According to Gemein, the artist has the task of creating new worlds, in order to perceive the world around us in a different way.

“Oil painting can be forgiving at times to correct small issues, with that said it is less forgiving when applying a glaze over an already painted area. Patience must be learned to allow the already painted area to be completely dry. As time has passed, I have learned that it takes time to make a great piece of art. I am inspired by the Baroque style and painters like Caravaggio which highlight light and dark shadows.”

Vaydra Wright’s simple expressions are eternal, infinite, unsettled by human descriptions. The artist aims for an excellent balance: her collection contains moving elements and technical principles. Vaydra has also diverted meaning from what was clear to her; in the present circumstances, “I produce a scene for others to penetrate their own eyes, not just mine.” Vaydra asks herself: “Should the concept say one thing? Or do I feed the imagination or a notion?”

“As a photographer, I try to create images of serenity and stillness, moments in time that seem timeless. No matter what the subject is, I try to capture its essence in a synthesis of my inner eye and the world outside-a crystallization of light and vision. My recent work joins iconic landscapes with the figure to suggest a mood or story. A favorite theme is my “Goddess” series, where the combination transcends the individual elements to project a feeling of mystery, with a nod to mythology.”

“The idea of the artwork taking a life of its own captivates me. Furthermore, I am mystified by the unknown world that exists outside the comfort of everyday life and spend a lot of my time using my fascination with space, in my abstract work. The cosmic theme subsists in circular orbs and cell-like natures, which permeate the question of “Where does the body end and the soul endure?”

Ewa is an artist with an old European background, searching for her original style. While having emphasized her study on European Classical art styles, Zeller evolved from these with a renewed sense of self. Some of her works are intuitive. “I expect a painting to have a soul. I’m painting for clarity, understanding that “happening” is not the most important thing in this world.”

“I enjoy painting in the mosaic style. I began painting late in life under the guidance of Lorna Ritz, who helped me record what I saw in the hills and orchards of western Massachusetts. Most of my works at this stage were landscapes drawn with oil pastels. After moving to Roanoke, Virginia, I painted oils but also worked on mosaics, and slowly a painting style evolved that also expressed the spirit of mosaic.”
