GAYLE PRINTZ
A WORLD MASTER ARTIST
Gayle Printz embarked on her artistic journey in May of 2020, wielding her first paintbrush to capture the enduring beauty within a world disrupted by the pandemic. By July of the same year, her creations graced the walls of European exhibitions, and in November, they found a permanent home within the esteemed Le Musée de Peinture de Saint-Frajou in France.
Printz’s artistic endeavors have garnered an astonishing array of over 1500 juried international art awards and prizes. Her works have been showcased in countless solo and group exhibitions worldwide, and they’ve earned the spotlight in leading global art publications. To behold her artistic prowess, one need only visit GaylePrintz.com, an online modern art gallery where every painting stands as a testament to her accolades.
Renowned WORLD MASTER ARTIST, Gayle Printz occupies a hallowed place among the most influential contemporary artists of our era. Printz’s pioneering style is distinguished by her distinctive choice of colors, unique brushwork, and an undeniable sense of creative liberation. She effortlessly traverses artistic genres, ranging from abstract, modernistic, and abstract expressionistic to abstract geometric and post-Impressionistic pieces. When asked about her artistic versatility, Printz humbly admits that she might be an “unintentional artistic rule-breaker.” She explains that, devoid of formal training, she remains blissfully unaware of artistic conventions. In a world unburdened by rules, she contends, the potential for artistic expression knows no bounds. The resounding international acclaim she has garnered suggests that the potential for her work to appreciate in value knows no bounds either. Adorning the walls of prominent global art collectors and investors, Printz’s paintings now rank among the most sought-after art investments in the world.
In each Printz painting, there exists profound universal and personal significance. However, Printz firmly believes that the importance of any artwork is rooted in the emotions it stirs within the beholder. She refrains from imposing her own interpretations, allowing you the unbridled freedom to discover the meaning that resonates most deeply with you. She invites you to employ your imagination as a lens through which to uncover significance, promising that her unmistakable artworks will kindle intrigue and value unlike any other.
One of the marvels that Gayle is renowned for is the transformative nature of her paintings, which shift dramatically with the angle of your gaze. For Gayle, this phenomenon aligns with life itself, where meaning is contingent upon one’s perspective.
By charting an unconventional path to express her artistic freedom, Gayle Printz succeeded in rekindling light within a darkened world. Now, through her paintings, she extends to you the unencumbered freedom to experience life in unforeseen ways. Her creations beckon you to discover meaning in a world where the whispers of your imagination are infallible. Gayle fervently believes that embracing the unfamiliar enriches the soul and inspires all to revel in life’s inherent beauty.

Lines and shapes in many pictures of the Swiss artist Heinz Marzohl were inspired by cracks and shadows on rock walls of stormy sea coasts and are reminiscent of primeval cave paintings. With beautiful color compositions, they became enchanting, touching picture worlds.

Memories, thoughts, stories, and dreams of the Swiss artist Heinz Marzohl become shadowy figures, ambiguous shapes, archaic lines, and touching color compositions. Again and again, with the deep desire to create a unique, beautiful work. This is his world of paintings.
Heinz Marzohl has crafted a series of poignant and vibrant paintings, each rooted in memories of remarkable places and experiences. It appears as though the spiritual alchemy of these encounters bestows upon the images a beguiling and enigmatic charisma.

Amidst the vast expanse of the Rhone Delta, where steppes, marshes, and wetlands converge with the sea, a captivating scene unfolds. Here, wild horses roam freely, pastoral shepherds’ abodes dot the landscape, and a towering church stands as a majestic sentinel beneath the boundless expanse of the sky.

“My career began in Manhattan’s East Village drawing street portraits. With a love for travel, I’ve collected material that I dip into frequently for inspiration, especially during my 5 years in Mexico where the colors were totally unrestrained. It was there I was deeply influenced by surrealism. Hopefully, by making things happen in my fictional worlds that do not otherwise occur in our daily experiences, we are asked to examine certainties about ourselves and our assumptions about our world.”

“Photo artistry is a passion of mine. An idea may spark, but more often, in the midst of blending textures, objects, and other ephemera, a concept emerges, and then it’s full steam ahead. My photo compositions are colorful, grungy, layered, and tend to land afield of the usual realm of photo artistry. I find inspiration in vintage objects, wildlife and environmental issues, and in pondering deep human emotions. My hope is that viewers will enjoy thinking and imagining beyond the symbolism.”

“Creating art based on realism is the ultimate form of meditation for me. While capturing a subject, my hand, heart, and eyes connect, and I use traditional skills to express this connection in my artwork. I love to work with both watercolors and colored pencils. Both of these mediums provide wonderful transparency and translucency, which complement my fascination with working in layers, often creating a jewel-like effect. It is the greatest satisfaction when my art touches another person’s heart.”

I embark on this journey either with something deeply impactful in my memory or by starting with an open presence in the current moment. I draw inspiration from memory, intuition, and vision. While it may appear intricate, it’s not. It’s all about connecting with life in its various forms, encompassing poetry, sound, movement, dance, touch, dreams, and much more. It revolves around states of deep experience characterized by beauty, mystery, stillness, and the sacredness of the present moment, interwoven with dimensions such as the physical, memories, imagination, and visions. “My art voice centers around my country roots. During my childhood, I spent my days walking in the 50acre woods and exploring the creek that ran alongside those woods. After my college years and a career in teaching, I have now returned to being a full-time artist and run my own art gallery. We currently live on 20 acres of woods and also have a small cottage nestled in the woods overlooking Lake Erie in western New York State. The natural world has always spoken to me, and my concern for its health is evident in my artwork.”

Holland attempted to protect themselves, their homes, livestock, and crops against flooding and land erosion. I trace the results of their efforts with the help of old maps and archives. I am pleased that capturing these changes is an ongoing project.”

“Painting, for me, is a driving force of emotion, and I enjoy using color in relating that emotion. As I layer thin glazes of paint and let it develop as my “inner vision” dictates, expressing strength, gentleness, rhythm, and color, my subject develops. I then emphasize and strengthen my subject with controlled and free strokes to keep the painting loose and energetic. Many times, I add hidden images to keep the painting interesting in expressing my thought or emotion.”

When I create, I shut out the rational side of my brain and let the subconscious and intuitive voice speak through my hand and onto the paper. “Oil painting can be forgiving at times to correct small issues; with that said, it is less forgiving when applying a glaze over an already painted area.
