St. Clement’s School’s robust Arts program provides students at every grade level with opportunities for creative expression through both vocal and instrumental music. Despite the ever-evolving COVID-19 restrictions over the last few years, St. Clement’s students continued to thrive. By leveraging inherent technological infrastructure in the School, SCS musicians continued to enjoy meaningful opportunities to showcase their musical talents through live-streamed productions of our annual Carol Service, Recital Night, and Spring Arts Festival. In addition, student-led co-curricular initiatives like the Virtual Music Ensemble highlighted our willingness to adapt as a community and leverage contemporary music technologies, multitrack production, and live-studio recording. We carry these experiences in our hearts with a profound appreciation for what the pandemic has taught us: no matter the obstacle, music can transcend boundaries and inherently connect communities. This year, our Primary Choir, Junior Choir, Senior Choir, and Chamber Choir continue to share their love for singing with the School and broader community in school assemblies and at our first in-person church services back at St. Clement’s Church and St. Paul’s on Bloor. The Chamber String Orchestra, Middle School Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band are also thriving, performing at assemblies and services.

St. Clement’s School is thrilled to be participating in CISMF 2023.
