Have your next meeting or celebration at the Sundance Recreation Center. Rent the facility at an affordable price with a convenient location. Facility accommodates up to 160 people for meetings, private rentals, birthday rentals & more!

• Non-business hours – add $50/hr

• Holiday hours rental – add $100/hr

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES for Recreation & Senior Programs

Our Community Services Department maintains a scholarship fund to help youth & active adults 60+ who do not have the financial means to participate in fee based programs.

Who Is Eligible?

• Youth age 17 and under

• Adults age 60+ or 18+ with a disability Scholarships are need-based and income restricted.

ARTS & CRAFTS

ART FOR LITTLE HANDS (402700)

Engage in fun art projects specifically designed for little hands using paint, glue, glitter, recyclable material, craft papers, and more. Class initiatives include the child’s development of small motor skills, following directions, and creative learning. Caregiver must attend each class with child. No class Sept. 4 & Oct. 9 & 30.

ART MASTERS (402702)

In this class students will explore their creativity and artistic potential as we work and experiment with different media and processes, focusing on technical skills and fundamentals of art-making. We will draw, paint, print, and sculpt, while working individually and learning from the masters. This class is for elementary students who are looking to build their artistic repertoire in a challenging yet fun and supportive environment. No class Sept. 4 & Oct. 9 & 30.

CREATIVE ARTISTS (402701)

These young artists will dive deeper into more in depth art techniques and projects all while in our fun environment with lots of different actives each session to keep them interested. Explore different elements of art, such as shapes, colors, values, textures, and lines through drawing, painting, collages, crafts, and stencils! Mediums such as recyclable materials, papers, fabrics, paint, and colored pencils will be used. No class Sept. 4 & Oct. 9 & 30.

INTRODUCTION TO CLAY (402721)

Introduction to basic clay techniques includes roll, pinch, slab, and glazing. Students will explore hand building, decoration, glazing, and firing. No class Oct. 10 & 31.

This is your time to use your creativity! Students will explore hand-building decoration glazing and firing with an emphasis on design and form. No class Oct. 31.

MACRAMÉ – LEAF WORKSHOP (402723)

Interested in learning Macramé? Join us for a twohour lesson and learn the art. You’ll learn the basic knot and create your own decorative wall hanging.
