Maker Space

Become a Certified Maker! A Certified Maker is someone who can work independently in the Maker Space. Read the rules and sign the waiver, it’s that easy! Maker Space staff are always available to teach you how to use the equipment and assist you with your project. Visit the Maker Space often to keep your crafting skills sharp.

CrafterNoon Adventures Wednesdays 2 – 6 p.m. Weekly projects include everything from making greeting cards and custom puzzles to loom potholders, jewelry, and so much more! Check the online calendar at carnegiestout.org every week to see what is happening in the Maker Space. All ages welcome! Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Registration not required for Maker Space programs.

Saturday Workshops Saturdays 1 – 3 p.m. Join the fun every Saturday and learn all about the Maker Space. Learn to sublimate your own mugs, glasses, photo tiles, and more. Try out the Muse Hobby Laser, button maker, or embroidery machine. Every week is a new project so check the calendar at carnegiestout.org for details. Kindness Rocks Wednesday, Sept. 21 Participate in this kindness project by painting a rock and adding an inspirational quote or funny saying. Then place your rock somewhere in the community to brighten someone’s day.
